Vibram Is Done

Nope, it's illegal in all states because federal law applies in all states.

Since you are so ignorant on the issue, I don't blame you.

But there's no hypocrisy. Just a distinction between legal and illegal. You are inventing the hypocrisy with your pot-martyrdom. Take that up with congress or your state legislature. There's no hypocrisy in faulting a company for glorifying illegal activity and not being upset when a company that peddles a legal product advertises during or sponsors a sporting event.

You want to talk about what should and should not be illegal. That's a different argument and that fact seems to be going over your head (or through it without registering).

You are the one whom is ignorant. You might want to do some research on nullifacation before you spout off. By the legal system that our laws are built under, unless the power is enumerated in the constition, states always trump the federal govt.

I shouldn't have to jump in here, after all I fly the black and gold, but your arrogence lit me on fire.

You sound like an alcoholic claiming they have never touched a drug in their life. If you don't recognize that beer, which sponsored many disc golf events in the early 90's, is a mood altering substance and thus carries a similar societal connotation as marijuana then your dense.

If you think beer carries a similar societal connotation as marijuana, you don't know what similar or connotation mean.

The 420 thing was a poor decisions. It just didn't have much upside and it risked getting some sensitive people up in arms.

I would love to know how those same folks feel about beer sponsorships in their favorite sports.

You're probably right about the sensitive folks getting up in arms over the name thing, especially those who knew what it stood for when it came out. As for me, live and let live I say.

Ughhhhhhhh

Your argument style is so fun.

So, it's not legal anywhere in the USA?

Wouldn't this be like having a fit over a stamp depicting gambling? That's legal in some places and not in others.

I was also commenting about the absurdity of one being legal and not the other based on what's happened in the past.

Even outside of the drug strains the plant truly IS a weed and grows all over while being very useful even outside of the danks.

People are so weird. Yeah lets hate a plant that grows out of the ground but gimme some of the abcxyz drug on the shelf with no question!

No one in real disc golf ahould give a ****. If anything they should embrace it. Talk about sponsorship....

Oh man. I give up. All you can do is repeat the same insults over and over. You must be a joy in real life.

Good luck with everything

if you got vibram and dont want it now
send it my way.

also, yellow vibram discs are kinda rare because vibram has a yellow logo and they want the logo to stand out.

Since they discontinued it well before their demise, your odds of finding one shouldn't change that much since all the available ones have already been made.

Oddly you can still find it new at stores. So either the ran it again after the discontinuation or they over produced it to the point that it is still available to this day.

Two main takeaways from this thread:

1) we're all pretty sad to see a big company leave the sport, and had crushes on one or two of their molds but couldn't pull the commitment card out, and

2) I don't really want to play a round with Doofenshmirtz

I'll have you know that I was and still am fully committed to Vibram. Just look at my signature line.
