What drivers would you guys say are "sneaky long"? By that I mean they gain noticeably more distance than you think they should and end up beyond your intended target.

First one that comes to mind for me is the Trespass. I've been messing with a fuzion burst Trespass lately and it absolutely crushes. This disc goes way, way longer than I'm used to throwing such discs. This Trespass is on the flippy side and bombs when hyzerflipped. It reminds me of a Shryke or Tern. Great glide. I tossed a couple lucid Trespasses earlier this year that were similar. Hugely long. Much longer than I'd anticipated out of that mold.

On a side note, I dig this fuzion burst plastic. The stuff is nice and glides well. I also tried the Explorer in that pastic.

What other discs do you think are sneaky long?

I threw the Term and I don't wanna say "sneaky long" because it is made to bomb. The FD however is just that for me. Throw them well past my TBs with minimal effort. Ignoring the fact that you said driver entirely I will say also that the Prophecy was a much longer disc than I thought it would be.

The Vamp is the fairway driver that I overshoot the target the most. Dang thing has almost as much glide as a Comet. Unfortunately, it is nose sensitive as hades.

The 138g Fission Photon was dangerous long...it went OB a few times when I didn't mean for it to. I traded it off. I have a low 150s weight one now. It doesn't have nearly the glide, but it's still long. A 145 would probably be golden.

MVP Relay. If you get the right angle and snap, it just bombs. During the Circuit event where it debuted, I saw a guy park no15 at Mt Airy. A 500+ ft downhill turnover shot. Pretty good for a speed6 fairway...

Totally agree with this one. My longest throw to date was with a relay. 425' slightly downhill hyzer flip that went 100' long of the pin.

As I was reading this, I was going to say the Trespass, also.

Another disc that I found to be sneaky long is the VCobra. Not a popular disc, but a good one.

Comet and FD both go surprisingly far for the effort input. And some of my longest throws ever have been with a Star Sidewinder.

Stag is very long for its speed, and the recycled plastic is good as well.

Fission Volt is good I agree.

I think the Crave is especially sneaky since it always goes just a bit more than it's line would appear to allow. The plasma ones are very true to this.

for mids the meteor is hella long (when thrown "right" and not hitting the notorious hit point it has)

ive outdriven drivers with it

Trespass I agree with, I can power it down like a fairway and get significantly more distance at lower height.

Sidewinders too, I don't bag them because they fly with a lot of fairway characteristics but I can't control the landing zone as well, they keep going. Lost my last one by overshooting so deep I went in water.

Leo's go every bit as far for me as any speed 7 disc, FD included, even though they are narrower and I guess truly a 6. The "slower speed" shouldn't discourage anyone.

Oh, DX Teebirds bomb.

back when i threw tb i would outdrive destroyers outlaws forces and ballistas with my dx tb "what was that" "teebird" "no way wuuuut"

seasoned dx tb are awesome

I'm getting my most consistently long BH distance shots from my Star Teebirds. Thrown with anyhyzer they go as far as my Wraiths but I get more control. It's really as fast as I should be throwing most of the time for BH distance.

Hatchet. I don't know why I don't throw them more. They glide forever, and when hyzerflipped they can run a pretty dead straight line too.

I like your style man. I came to say FD. Teebirds are my schit too. But the FD is the longest distance disc I even to throw anymore. I can't throw 9+ speed drivers farther or more accurately so I don't even bag any.

Comet hands down for me. Honestly why I didn't like it at first. Went too far, unpredictably.

If we're just talking wow that went farther than I thought I could throw it: Heat, Escape, Trespass, Pro Destroyer, Thrasher. Octane

Sounds like the FD might be worth a look. I actually have one, but haven't thrown it yet.

One other disc I'll add that's sneaky long is the TD2. Its basically a speed 10 version of a Tern or DDX. Somewhat wildly flippy, but exceptionally long. It'll hang with the big dog drivers. Accuracy is out the window though.
