Longest forehand in disc golf?

I've never heard of a 40 mold, is it like a fastback?

I've got a 120 Yikun dog disc that I practice touch shots with, can finesse it maybe 250 FH. If it's anything at all in that class of disc that would take some serious snap.

It is a mold made by Wham-O/DTW and is slow deep catch disc, almost the same mold as a Wham-O regular mold would be now from Discovering The World site.

It was fun watching Emerson. He has a nice forehand. He is so balanced and controlled backhand, but when he flicks, he throws his whole body into it and has to catch himself.

You dont need crazy distance, just shy of 400 with accuracy does the trick. Sexton can prolly only get around 400 accurately.

Nobody has mentioned Ryan Sheldon, a 1000 rated pro out of Minnesota. He can absolutely crush forehands 700+ feet with a Destroyer or a Boss. There's a video of him hucking 700 feet somewhere on Facebook but I can't find it as of now.

Par save just released coverage of the Cedar Creek Open and Sheldon is featured on a couple rounds. Unreal sidearm. The last hole of the final 9 round he throws a destroyer 500+ on a hyzer

Plant foot is closed and elbow stays away from hip.

700ft fh? hmm.. at first I wasn't buying it, then the video of Cedar Creek was mentioned (hole #9) and then I watched him fh 500+ on a hyzer. wow.. not sure a full flex flight could add another 180-200ft, but it would be cool to see what he is capable of.

Insane to be able to throw a FH that far. . .. but then again i tried to throw a Javelin once and came 25m. . the WR is 98,48m!!

Top athletes Achievements ARE insane

is that the way to do it

Why do a lot of the top pros plant open for sidearm?

Pitchers are taught to plant with a closed front foot.

Why some plant open, IDK, it makes me cringe and most of the pros that do this have had injury issues. You can have bad mechanics and throw hard a la Stephen Strasburg.

what gets injured with a open foot flick

i have no clue im lookin for a brief summary

cuz i def use open foot haha

How do you define open vs closed? I thought open meant that the plant foot is pointed in the direction of the throw and closed meant the plant foot is perpendicular to the throw direction.
