Entropy:

Zone is listed as 4 speed as well so this must be their attempt at a gyro Zone. I guess the Deflector is a tic faster.

I never held a deflector but looking at its profile, it looks more like mid/fairway tweener. Whereas this is a putter/mid tweener.

Not sure the Zone can be improved upon, so as a mixed bag thrower the Entropy isn't something that gets me super excited. But if I was an all-gyro guy I'd be ecstatic right now

I picked up a used Deflector and it definitely flew like a true mid. Dumped it in trade about as fast as it dumped when fading.

I am actually somewhat interested but I've got a disc problem... not enough and there's over a dozen in the mail. (10 Envies though)

Guys my wife caught me. I hoped to plan for my deliveries to arrive tomorrow when shes gone for the day. But they actually came early FOR ONCE - I got the text "You have a lot of gifts today" haha, yeah.....well......hmmm.... Its Spring, HAPPY SPRING TO MEEEE

If the Entropy is Zone like stability and it comes out in a firm Neutron, I will pick this up for a try. If not, I will wait until it comes out in firm Electron.

Haha it's always funny when someone else got busted... how many discs showed up?

(I'm a little nervous about my multiple packages... I will be checking the mail and hoping to intercept at least one..)

*cough, cough*
Jawbreaker Zone is what you seek
*cough, cough*
Pair it with a beefcake Titanium Zone
*cough, cough*

What? No, I'm not recommending non-gyro molds in the MVP thread. Why do you ask?

I have a Jawbreaker Zone. It comes in and out of my bag...mostly out.
I can forehand an Envy cleaner and had rather backhand my Ti Drone.
I like the JW Zone, but there is too much overlap in my bag.

I am hoping the Entropy has an Envy hand feel with Zone stability. That may be too much to ask though.

Did a little digging.
The Envy is a 1.0 cm rim. The Ion a 1.1. The Zone a 1.3.
The new Entropy is supposed to be 1.05. This is nowhere near a Zone, regardless of how it flys.

Given the numbers, it very well may be an Envy/Particle with an extended upper overmold.

Finally got the official release info from PDGA site...

The Entropy disc from MVP Disc Sports was PDGA Approved on 2-27-2019.

"Be prepared for the chaos found on the course with the new Entropy from MVP. The Entropy is an overstable Putt and Approach disc designed for flights with a minimal glide and a strong finishing fade. The Entropy delivers as the overstable workhorse putter GYRO fans have been waiting for. Making its debut in Neutron Plastic and the new 10.5mm MVP Putter Class, the Entropy has the premium grip and durability to become your go-to approach or high wind putter. After an extensive development process, the Entropy has arrived and is ready to be disc golfs next premier overstable putter." - MVP Disc Sports

PDGA specs has it at 1.2 rim width.

1.2 compared to 1.05 is a big difference. I wonder if MVP is only measuring the overmold, and not also the inner rim from the flight plate?

The brothers are weird. I hadn't really noticed the putter class numbers before. They have the Ion class as 11mm, the Envy/Atom as 10 and the Entropy at 10.5. But they have the Ion class as 2.5 speed, Envy at 3 and Entropy at 4...WTF? lol

Also, the Entropy is listed at 21.2 diameter which puts the max weight at 176 for those who like the heaviest putter possible...
