To the left in the trees. A great first hole with beutifull views of Lake Tahoe. I took this picture at an odd angle to try to get the snow capped mountains in the background. I might have a pic with the basket in it... I'll look.

It's a cool course, several of the pines holes have totally separate fairways through the pines for different tees, lots of visually interesting holes.

This is an old picture from 2008, but the pin placement was still the same when I was there last. I couldn't get the small version to work so I just put up a link so I wouldn't get the colective B!TC#!N& from everyone about large picture sizes.

Is there a way to post pictures from my own computer? All I can see to add pictures is by using a url from a website.

I tried doing an attachment, but that only produced a thumbnail.

I'd appreciate your technical help with this.

You can put pics into your album here on DGCR.. Then just insert image with the DGCR URL and walaa! I've done that a few times...

This course is only about 40 miles from my house. I haven't played there yet though. I plan on getting there before the end of the summer though. A friend of mine that I play with all the time has played there several times (he used to live in Point) and talks it up.

Played Diamond X today, my buddy almost aced hole 18!!!! 725 feet off the cliff in the background!!!!

I don't know if its the longest one on record but it IS 724 feet. It's an awesome throw. I wanted to chuck two, but I didn't want to wonder around looking for two
