DFW disc golf

Dammit I should've stayed up there and played the mini too I left right before they started

They also moved hole 9's bucket to the left out of the water where the backhoe sank:) We also moved hole 3's tee back so you did not get hit from 2's bucket..... at least now you can see them throwing at you:)

Lost a green Zone in there. That sink hole is deep. Never did find my disc.

Cedar Hill added another mini during the week...Thursdays @ 6pm from the new short tees. Entry is $11 ($2 goes to a separate ace pot from the normal saturday mini). I played the Coyote short layout last weekend - there are tons of ace opportunities, but its still challenging...it IS still Cedar Hill, after all :)

I haven't played in many other states, but I think the DFW metroplex has an incredible DG scene. If a seasoned dg'er came into town, and you could only take them to one course in the metroplex, which course would you take them to and why?

I have to say Harry Meyer's in Rockwall. Great course with a wide variety of shots. It is a challanging course, but not frustrating. Must play in the DFW.

Just played Harry Meyer's for the first time yesterday. There was a lot of standing water, but other than that it was by far the nicest course I have played so far. It definitely reminds me of a ball golf course, and very challenging. I tried it as a two disc round, and let's just say things did not go well for me.

For you guys who have played Pachall, I was wondering if you would be so kind as to post your PDGA rating along with your best score at Paschall. I'm just trying to figure out if I played above my rating today at 6 over (4 over if you go by the DGCR par rating), (my PDGA rating 747). Anyway, that's 7 throws better than my best previous score on that course, so I'm wondering whether it is a sign of progress.

Wow, Kennedale now has a course… Cedar Hill, Arlington, Grand Prairie, but nothing in Mansfield. We need to get a course installed in Mansfield… Hmmm, where do I start?

Firstly, find an underutilized city park that has become an area where criminals hang out and conduct business.

Secondly, tell the city that you've figured out a way to trick potheads into patrolling such areas for free. :hfive:

I live near grapevine so my home course is Bear creek the farthest course I have ever gone to is Lake lewisville so I dont have many courses under my belt :)

You live in Trophy Club... a new course is going in there. I played it with Funkytown recently. It was set up with temp baskets at that time. Perm baskets will be in sometime. Anyhow, the City of Trophy Club bought it, and are going to do another, high end, pay to play course... from what I've heard.

Yeah, I think it would be cool to start our own little club/team! I already have some backing from Dynamic Discs. Plus, I know I could get Jeremy to help with getting a course put in.

I think we need to come up with some kind of proposal to submit to the city. I'll do some research!
