At my heaviest, I weighed 415. I incorporated a lot of physical activity along with disc golf to now be slightly under 400. However, that's not the best part. The best part is the inches that I've lost all around. Shirts feel a little loose but my pants feel like I'm sagging. My intermediate goal is 375, with an ultimate goal of 350. Then I will continue to make goals until I can get to around 250.
In addition to healthier eating habits, I found one main concept key in my weight loss. Find your BMI for your weight and slowly decrease your intake of calories. I started with a drop of 25-30 calories per day and that is helping me currently. Also, don't forget to change your activity level when calculating because the more active you are, the more calories that you'll need to burn. If you don't, your body might force you to compensate for those calories by potentially overeating. When you become more active, you might be able to cut an extra 10-20 calories from your intake and DRINK LOTS OF WATER.
Other activities that I do are Badminton, Walking to the local store instead of taking the car or bus, my garage is a sauna so I do short 10 minute bursts of cleaning and organizing it for 30-45 minutes, Aqua Aerobics/swimming, walking the dog: not the yo-yo trick or any activity that makes you walk.
