you can use the udisc or a few other apps to determine where you threw from and where your disc landed (this will of course give you the distance you threw it).
Just to let anyone who is interested know, I am selling mine in my FSOT thread in my signature. I finally saved up enough to get a hyzerbomb backpack and don't need it anymore. It's still in great condition.
