    Other info

I threw my first round sometime in 1996, but stopped about a year later. While driving by a course in Long Beach, CA. my wife asked what the baskets were for. I found some of my old discs and took her out. Then the obsession began. I've been playing regularly and seriously since 2008.

D'oh!!!! I plum forgot that I would be trading back your original tag. I'll keep you posted on the date for the Bring Your Own Partner deal. Last I heard it might be Jan. 7 or 14.
    Catch you later,
    Have a Great Christmas
    Hey Now Jon ~
I see that you made another travel tag swap ~ Are you up for another swap before the year is up? Just let me know.

By the way, there will be a "bring your own partner" doubles match at Lake Stevens in Jan. Some time before the 28th ~ it will be a fund raiser for Freeze in the Trees which takes place on the Jan 28
Maybe we could team up. If you get the chance you should come out for the Freeze in the Trees ~ Tournments are always fun at Lake Stevens.
Very good. Baby Coen got to find out how much he loves pumpkin pie! How was yours? Did you travel to Cali?
No clue. I too am still trying to work things out w/ the wife and kid situation. If this weekend doesn't end up working out perhaps the next.
I did it the first year and it was a ton of fun. The issue is that most if not all tournaments are south of seattle and so you spend a lot of time driving to places like Olympia, Shelton, White River, etc. on Sundays. Eventually it would be nice to have a north and south division, or if we could start our own up north. You playing Sat at all or working?
Don't check in here often enough. I ended up finding my disc 2 days later. Played a round and just retraced my steps. I knew that I had to be close, sure enough it was just off from where my buddy spotted it and it actually had a look at the basket!

I played Juel for the first time yesterday and actually walked in on their year of the season doubles tourney. I drew the joker and shot -6 taking every drive because I wanted the ace pot. Our 5-some had some really close ones, including myself which was fun. After that a few of us stayed and put in another $5 for singles. -7 took that with myself shooting a -3. Needless to say my arm hurts today....

Its a fun course if not just for the huge hyzer bombs you can throw on practically every hole. It was fun to see where I stack up with some of the big arms there. My best being 425' or so. (after 40+ drives as it was) id like to play there again in the summer with some better air!
It was fun playing dg w/ you at Silver Lake yesterday. Look forward to playing again real soon!
Of course! That would be sweet. I'm 90% sure I'm coming.....I'm waiting for my buddy Mike to confirm that I can crash at his place for the few nights!
I played again as well and lost my Destroyer on 18. Baffles me though because I had eyes on it the whole way and could swear that I knew within 15 feet where it would've been. I'm hoping that my returned disc luck doesn't run dry, because that's my Ace'r. It was getting dark and I couldn't put in much time to look for it. Its the name of the game though so I'm not too mad.

Congrats on the round! For me its about bagging the birds in the front and fending off the bogeys in the back. Of course a deuce on 18 finishes off a round nicely.

I might be able to play over the weekend. I'm going to watch the Rugby 7s championships and will probably be pretty inebriated Sat, but Sun. might be a good day.
What's cracking John? Thanks for the round the other day. Let's do it again soon, I'll definitely need to bring a better game. I'm playing all year round. Feel free to msg me.
Hey John! How's life in Washington? How's fatherhood treating you? Thanks for the"hug" on Facebook!

I have some buddies that play Ft. Steilacoom all the time up there near Seattle.
