Gotta learn to release it on a decent hyzer angle feeling like you are going to throw pretty much right into the tree on the left. Hyzerflip is the primary shot I'm working on right now and I feel like I started getting the hang of it best on 200ft or less putter shots. It has taken a loooong...

Has potential, but currently a disaster
Easy access and hardly any other players so there will be zero waiting on the tee.
The course is clearly in the midst of a redesign. When we played we assumed that it must have just been turned into an 18 hole course within the past couple of months...
C-Line Infinite Tomb is my goto for a glidey, turn-resistant, low-profile putter. I throw a Maiden off the tee as well as putt with it. The Tomb feels similar but doesn't really turn and has some fade even on a full power throw.
Good point. I think it's important to note that there is definitely such a thing as too much reach back. I execute better when I think about the backswing in terms of shoulder turn rather than reach back. Consciously reaching back for me can result in too big a backswing which throws off my...
You aren't overpowering anything throwing 250-300 off the tee so I would not use anything over a 9 speed at this point BH. You are probably doing the same things most new players do - throwing nose up, poor footwork, poor weight shift and bracing, rounding instead of getting the disc tight to...
Haha, yeah I know that miss and still get it occasionally! I'm no great putter but a couple of things that have helped me improve in the past couple years.
Watching my buddy who laser beam putts and seeing his slight nose-up stroke and trying to copy that aspect. It's a thing of beauty...
No doubt, but a creek that is regularly dry during the year is a bit more ambiguous than a lake. Even without ice we sometimes have to make judgement calls about OB because the creek doesn't have a 100% flat surface so when it gets lower you can get high spots that are dry-ish and the rule is...
Yeah, that's key. I'm of the same mindset that I don't really care but would like to know so there isn't ambiguity should the situation come up to avoid the butt hurt :D
My group usually plays that the water in the creek is OB, but if it dries out then the OB is gone. When it is mostly gone but iced over you get a thin layer of ice and leaves with dry ground an inch underneath. You step on it and it breaks apart leaving you standing on broken ice on top of a...
I've noticed this off and on for a few years of watching pro coverage and wanted to get some thoughts... When I get to the course I switch from my daily drivers into my disc golf shoes which are Merrel trail/hiking shoes with sticky knobby rubber soles that make me feel like I'm getting good...
100% agree with this. Stop thinking so much, go out to your basket and start making 15 foot putts with the most natural, simplest motion that feels like "you". You shouldn't even need to think about your hips during a putt. There are 100 different ways to putt and any of them can be effective...
I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the Titanium plastic. It is easily the most stable in my experience. It just keeps going straight and never really turns fully.
