DGPT Live Coverage Will Be Paywalled

I have the MLB package, the NFL package, and the NBA package. I’ve never thought about complaining because they don’t offer “free” coverage of all the games. This is a steal, especially as a PDGA member. If you’re a fan of disc golf, it’s a no brainer to buy the package. I don’t come close to...

    San Antonio

I live in San Antonio currently. Live Oak has two courses on site with Hillside being the better of the two but Lakeside is worth a play. Over on that side of town you also have Universal City and McClain. Both are wooded courses. I feel like McClain is the better kept of the two. If you have...

Question about Leaving Discs in the car

I think the key is just making sure there isn't pressure on the disc. I had two driver squeezed into the front pocket of my Grip G series bag and the front one lost it's dome on a 100 degree day in San Antonio. I went to throw the disc on league night, I was used to it being my most overstable...

    Grip-eq G Series

You may have convinced me. That's about how many discs and types I would be using. How tight is it when getting discs in and out?

    Am Payouts stifle pro growth?

Okay fine. Here's a better example for you. I went from 883 to 967 in 15 months throwing a bag of 6 discs with one back up of each. So I used 12 discs total to practice. I don't need to know how a specific mold flies bc there is so much variance in plastic injection molding that two of the same...

    Am Payouts stifle pro growth?

I honestly couldn't disagree more. The best way to get better is by having practice discs? Come on. Give Paul McBeth an allotment of 30 discs for the whole season and he's still the best player in the world. I'm willing to bet there is zero correlation between number of discs owned and skill...

DGPT: 2019 San Francisco Open presented by AbsoluteXtracts 10-May to 12-May-2019

I have a theory that getting rid of warnings cause people to make less calls. Also, I think players believe that if you miss your lie on accident and only by a few inches, it did nothing to gain you an advantage, so why call it? I feel like if people were doing it to give themselves a better...

    Am Payouts stifle pro growth?

I think the vast majority of AMs move up too early. My personal opinion is just because you can compete at the “local pro” level doesn’t mean you should move up to pro. Most “local pros” would be better off playing advanced than moving up. I could see DFW being different bc of how large it is...

    [Innova] Aviarx3

I ordered 5 DX ones about 3 months ago and I am on my second one. Out of the box, they are straight to fade but not as much fade as the premium and less skippy. I would say after about a month of woods use, it had some healthy turn. If I hyzerflip it, it's still straight to fade but throwing it...

Easy, get a DX one. My DX ones started showing turn pretty quickly. Great for hyzerflips and slow turnovers now. My CFR AX3 has beaten to pretty straight these days and I’ve had it since late December.
