    How To Increase Arm Speed?

Arm speed is really not the best description, it is about disc acceleration through the motion. reaching maximum accel. right at the hit point. The fingers then spring and launch the disc, throwing and aiming from the back of the disc, aka pendulum like.

    Pretentious physics of the hit

I just got the new Discgolfer mag, and Henna shows the proper straight/downward wrist position at backswing, perfectly displayed on the cover. The most common BH mistake I see is bending the wrist back trying for more spin or power. I also use the bent elbow throw like hers.

    Pretentious physics of the hit

Levers is the key, and you want to eliminate all unnecessary levers. The wrist is the biggest loss of distance lever, just like ball golf where folks try to flip it using the wrists, which is incorrect technique. Don't wind up the wrist on any shot, keep the wrist in the downward strong...

    Chicago must play course?!?

Actually all new baskets were put in at Highland in 2016 by the Jtown Disc Golf club, and they are the good ones ( i.e., not innova) The old ones were the original Mach !'s from 1979, West Park, upgraded with 2nd chains. Many pin positions have also been changed making it longer, and even...

4.00 star(s) Very Good, but not tops in CHI Much nicer than the old layout. I've been competing for 38 years, now a senior grandmaster, played hundreds of courses, and this was my closest good course about 10 years ago, I wasn't impressed with the old layout, so this is quite an upgrade. Still some...

4.50 star(s) Exceptional I planned to camp overnight and get 2-3 rounds in, and had such a good time, ended up staying 4 days. There is wifi at the campsite also, so was was able to get some work done. Most courses have a mix of some great holes, with a few open, .uninteresting ones, but there aren't any...

4.50 star(s) Outstanding updates 7 new holes added, all in the woods making it 24 holes, Also multiple new long tees have just been installed with new signs, garbage cans, and a picnic table at each tee. The new long tee on 4 is particularly epic. Every fairway and green is mulched regularly so no muddy...

1.50 star(s) Fair at best I travel to CU regularly and was excited to hear about an 18 hole course installed, as I designed the original 9 holer in CU, back in the mid 1980's at Florida and Lincoln, which was moved to Lohman several years later, unfortunately, as we had a good following at the old course...
