I played my typical early morning solo round at Wills Park this morning and was feeling great. There were two other newer players in front of me and I waited on hole 6's tee pad until they finished up. Hole 6 is 299ft and slightly downhill, but pretty much wide open. I threw my first shot and...
Well, I might try to create a pop top on my flat top Boss using your method just to see what happens. Right now it's good for big hyzers, but I have other discs that fill that need. It will be interesting to see if it becomes more or less overstable with a domey top. My guess is that it will...
Mark996, I agree with you. In my experience, a pop top creates less stability and more glide. But the OP seems to suggest otherwise and I guess that's where my confusion came in.
I just don't get the whole domey vs. flat-top thing. The most overstable Firebird I ever had was a Champion flat-top one and it was just stupid overstable. I lost it and wasn't even upset about it. The domey Champion Firebirds I have are less overstable and much more to my liking.
Also, I...
I would say I am probably about even for the number of chain-outs vs aces. I have 8 aces and probably about the same number of chain-outs.
Now, if we're talking about metal hits such as the bogey band or the cage, then I would say I easily have at least 3 times as many chain-outs/bogey band...
Thanks, Sidewinder22! I figured it was something like what you pointed out, but I wasn't sure where to start with correcting it. Now I have somewhere to start and plenty of home/field work to do!
I've been trying to get through my latest distance plateau. My drives are typically out to 360 and sometimes 400' (these drives were a little longer, but they were downhill). I feel like I'm capable of more. Here are a couple of videos of my form.
Any recommendations?

Just got my 1st ace of 2018 today and my 8th overall. Hole 13 in the 180ft short position at Wills Park. I aced it with same disc in the spring of 2016... a dark marble-gray 750 PA4.
I throw mostly Innova, but 4 of my aces now have been evenly shared between this PA4 and a Proto M1...
Played Wills Park this morning which is my home course and a course I expect to score well on. It's fairly wooded, but not too punishing. I had a decent round this morning: I birdied the first 5 holes in row(!) and finished bogey free with a... -7. :\

Short and Sweet
- It's a good course for working on your short game.
- Even though it's short, it's moderately technical.
- Lots of holes that allowed me to work on my forehand. I even got to practice a forehand roller on one hole that was short (surprise) and had a low ceiling.
- Did I mention...
Shot my personal best at Wills Park this morning... a 43 on the par 55 layout. The front 9 was ok with 5 birdies and one bogey, but I lit up the back nine with 8 birdies in a row to finish out the round. I think that may have been my longest birdie streak ever. I thought it was going to end...
