Review by gsuslikesme in course Jack Brooks Park - Gulf Meadows

4.00 star(s) Jack out da box It is fun. Very challenging course. There is a great mix of heavily wooded tunnel-like holes as well as wide open let-her-rip holes. There are other disc golfers out there all of the time. It is definitely an adventure to play this course with many challenges. Don't play this...

Review by gsuslikesme in course Tom Bass Regional Park - Wilmont

1.00 star(s) Pass me the binoculars It has a few good holes. When you start out you are thinking "wow this is really fun, look how holes #1 - #3 are right here by these trees, this is a really nice course" But wait...what is this...#4? "Which basket? oh ok, I see it. #5 what 500 feet in this cow pasture...

Noobie Question Thread (Dumb Questions answered here)

I also read the whole thing before I asked my question...The only thing I didn't like was Frank's ignorant comment about "black people"...not necessary Frank:thmbdown:

Noobie Question Thread (Dumb Questions answered here)

sorry...I was out, just got back. I apologize for the impression I was giving. I was originally wondering if there was a hard fast rule on where to throw relative to the tee post. It would seem that there is not? I have always thrown from what would be considered by your definition the correct...

Noobie Question Thread (Dumb Questions answered here)

...nice so...what your saying is...if everybody else throws from a spot then that makes it the official spot? Even if said spot is 12 feet away from the tee sign to avoid an obstacle?

Noobie Question Thread (Dumb Questions answered here)

no...no...no...It is the same distance. the course that I play has no signs...just poles. Who is to say that the people are throwing from the correct spot? Why the right side vs the left side?

Noobie Question Thread (Dumb Questions answered here)

I am just not sold that if everybody is more comfortable throwing backhand from the right side of the tee pole to get around that tree that is 40 feet in front of them, and I like to throw sidearm from the left side of the tee pole then I am not on the tee box. The question came up when we...

Is that per official rules or is that just DG Etiquette?

Noobie Question Thread (Dumb Questions answered here)

I play at a course that does not have tee boxes...only poles to mark the holes. On every hole there is a worn out area where you can tell that most people throw from. But my question is, can I throw from the other side of the pole? If so...how far from the pole can I stand/tee off when I throw...

Is it possible that there already is a layer on Google maps that I can add to my maps that has all of the courses on here?

Review by gsuslikesme in course Hunter Park

5.00 star(s) Great Course Very very good course. There is everything you could want in a course, elevation changes, dense woods, light woods, creeks, open air, let it rip holes...Hunter Park has all of it. I just wish that it wasn't 9 hours away from my home... Lots of people out there when we went...

Review by gsuslikesme in course Clute Park - Old Layout

3.00 star(s) Clute You can accidentally get an ace out here. All of the holes are short and all but one or 2 are aceable. Excellent place to work on your short game and if you are a beginner you would have to be very very bad to lose a disc. Keep it low... Mosquitoes...This park is actually home to the Texas...
