Thanks for the messages here and emails regarding the basket. In total I had 7 offers ranging from $125 to $300 in less than 24 hours. Luckily there was a cool guy in town who wanted it so I didn't have to ship it.
I've got some old Disc Golfer Mag's (the old...
Hi Guys,
Basket is sold (pending payment tomorrow) to a cool guy that will get some good use out of it.
I didn't mean to come off like a (&^# in my posts. It just really is a nice basket. You would have to see it to understand. It's solid. Probably 70-80lbs. Very well constructed and...
Wow. I just popped back on and there's lots of conversation about the basket. It's interesting what everyone has to say about it. Obviously some might not have played on a Pier basket before. It catches better than anything out there now. But anyway... That's neither here nor there...
I have an Allen Pier "Spider-3" Disc Golf Pole Hole for sale. Most new players will not recognize this pole hole but the pros who have been around a little while will recognize it. It is widely regarded as the best catching disc golf basket ever created. After 4 knee surgeries it's time to get...
I was in Panama City, Panama for work a few months ago. There is one course in Panama. It's in David. It's 275 miles from Panama City. Between my co-worker and I we figured out a way to create a "need" to fly the plane in to David, rent a car and get to the course so we could play before we...
I hit one last year for about $70. I can't remember the largest one I have hit but it was during doubles in Cincinnati and I split it with my partner. I think it was a couple hundred.
During the warm up week (a couple days before the tournament) for the 1995 Am Worlds in Cincinnati there was a guy who went on to a course and trimmed trees that he didn't like. I can't remember which course or who it was but the tournament directors and officials (I was an official) found out...

Pretty good
The course is laid our nicely with wonderful tee signs. Once you find hole one (down the hill, past the tennis courts) you can make your way around the course with relative ease. There is a good mix of holes here. Some wooded and some open. There's plenty of opportunity to open up...
So Feldberg brought home about $24-25000 last year after taxes.
Even with sponsorship... don't quit your day job. $39k/year and a basement full of frisbees isn't going to get you anywhere in the real world. That's for sure.
Well... it might get you an awesome adjustable rate mortgage...

Good stuff
I've never been a huge fan of Florida courses but this course was thoroughly enjoyable.
For such a pancake flat state, the Turkeynator has a surprising amount of elevation change. Now... for all you northerners, don't read in to this that there are real hills all over the place. It's...
By the way... I don't know if anyone is interested but I could probably get my hands on a bunch of these. I have a friend who has probably 10 or 15 of them. Most new. I think there are a bunch with the "football" stamp as well. They probably wouldn't be cheap. But I do know someone with...

It's fun to play disc golf in Central America
Disc Golf in Panama.... That deserves a "Very Good".
This was a fun little course. It costs $2 to go to the hostel and use all the facilities, inluding the disc golf course. The holes are all very short with the exception of hole 9. It's about...
