Just thought I'd share a promo video I made recently from a "Non Stop Disc Golf" tour event in Taos, NM. It's not often we see the likes of Dave Feldberg, Nikko Locastro, Cale Leiviska or Will Schusterick in New Mexico so I brought a camera along to capture the action at our humble course. I...
We also have a Facebook group for New Mexico Disc Golf here. Useful for keeping up-to-date on upcoming events etc. Although Facebook recently jacked up our events page with the new layout so you kinda have to keep an eye on the wall / newsletter docs for event info now (blah).
I highly recommend checking out Sipapu. It's a beautiful course with lots of elevation (it's a Ski Resort in the winter months). They keep most of their amenities up and running during the Summer including the lodge / restaurant. Best of all the course is free to play despite being pretty well...
Thanks for the input. Yea I tend to go for max D rather than golf D more often than I probably should. This was pretty much a max D throw for me since the camera was rolling (lol) and it was a 416' par 3 I believe. I got lucky in this case and barely got on the green but it could have easily...
This is from a couple months ago. Unfortunately it's the only recent video I have but it's a pretty typical drive for me, with maybe slightly better than average distance.

Yea that might take some getting used to. I think it suits me better though as I like being more independent and there's too much drama behind the scenes in film.
I wouldn't mind getting my hands on a new Epic too ;) Anyway sorry to hijack this thread. Must contain my urges to discuss camera...
Originally you had to use CF cards (an 8gb card shooting at 4k 24fps would only last 4 minutes) or a 320gb HDD (which was less than ideal for handheld shooting for obvious reasons). They now offer SSD modules up to 256gb (~2 hours) which is nice, but very expensive. It seemed to continuously...
Thanks, will do. I work as a 1st AC (focus puller) for indie films using DSLR's and the Red One so I'm hoping someday I can get a nice counterbalanced DSLR shoulder rig of my own with a follow focus, fluid zoom etc. It might sound like overkill for disc golf but I really wanna get the best...
Sup DGR. Long time lurker. Finally decided to make an account. I found the Instructional Articles here extremely helpful when I first started playing about 2 and a half years ago. Never looked back. When I finally started perusing the forums I was blown away by the wealth of knowledge. I felt...
Sorry to necro an old thread but did anything ever come of this? I haven't seen Time Warp advertised for at least a year so I'm assuming it got cancelled? That's a shame because I loved watching it. I missed out on the campaign to get disc golf featured so I'm curious if there's any other show /...

Legit Course / Beautiful Scenery
- Spectacular elevation changes. Refreshing after having played boring flat courses for awhile.
- Beautiful scenery. High altitude mountain vegetation makes for a nice green course in the Summer months yet not too hot either.
- A decent sized stream comes into...
