Round notes:Got in a damp, windy round with Nick and Jessie but managed to avoid the worst of the weather. Had a great day off the tee but some shoddy approaches and a few devastating putt misses, especially on birdie chances. Used the Quad Shocks for the first time and what a difference! Didn't feel like I had anything on my back at all. Overall, it was a good round for the weather and conditions so I can't be that disappointed.

Round notes:Strange day. Weather cleared just in time for me to get a quick round in. I didn't feel 100% off the tee as my arms were still tired from struggling with that sofa sleeper. I got pissed at my poor drives and bad approaches and couldn't calm down to putt so those weren't dropping. Yet somehow I still ended up with a halfway decent score. Dropping strokes on 15 and 16 didn't hurt I guess. No doubles today either so that's cool.

Round notes:First time back to Frisco since earlier in the year and the improvement in my game really showed. It wasn't a great round, every aspect of my game was pretty average but that all came together to produce a solid score. Had some holes where I fell apart a bit but it was great to par the 686 foot long 15th for the first time. Even though I managed to bogie the 198 foot 16th right after it. Also got pictures of every hole for DGCR today.

Round notes:Well, what can I say about this place. I had put off returning all summer long but I was jonesing so bad today that I bit the bullet and drove down to Eagle after work. Granted, it was a much better experience than my first time months ago but, being alone, I wasn't able to find one of the holes and ended up having to make my own 18 with the practice basket. I was able to remember most of the course but somehow one hole just wasn't there. The round was good too. Drives were excellent for the most part, approaches too. Putting was pretty meh save for the last hole where I sunk a 30 footer to save par. I thought I was alone in my celebration but there was a redneck on a bike riding by who gave me some props on the make. Edit: I missed hole 3 but the hole I made up for "18" was to the right basket which I thought was the practice basket. "18" is scored below as #3, the rest are correct.

Round notes:First time at Fire Mountain and I was pleasantly surprised. Every time I drove by it before I wondered how they crammed 9 holes in there and when I heard it went up to 18 I was extremely skeptical. Granted, many of the holes were short but they made up for it with technical demands. Almost every hole after the first three made you think hard about your shot whether it was to avoid trees or avoid losing a disc in the river. Thankfully I was on my game for most of the day and had some great shots on tough holes. 5 birds today was a definite step up in play as the green Wraith was really working today. And nothing over a 4 is downright awesome. Parking my tee shot on the island hole 18th was the perfect way to end the day. I'll definitely be visiting this course again in the future.

Round notes:Wow. What an amazing course. All of the rave reviews are true along with the warnings of difficulty. I was simultaneously blown away and beat up by this course. This course made you work for every stroke and every step. Elevation changes were so extreme that it even puts our mountain courses to shame. The only bummer on the day was the rain we had for a couple holes. We were lucky though, that the huge storm that was looming on the way there moved away and revealed the sun late. My play was so-so but not terrible for this course. Had some great drives and some ugly ones. Putting was lacking. I definitely need to go back and really attack this course next time.

Round notes:Odd round today. Front nine was pretty ugly in the woods but I absolutely owned the back nine. Especially 13 where my forehand tee shot was beautiful, weaving S-curve that ended up under the basket. I think I had too much caffeine from the Clif Bar and Vitamin Water and was jittery on the front. My putts were atrocious early but once I calmed it all came together. Had a great tee shot and thumber approach on 12 and made par on the hole that is usually the toughest and most frustrating. Jessie also had an amazing long "putt" from 20 yards on 11 for a great par.

Round notes:Second time at BC doubles and actually got a partner this time. I was paired up with first timer Fook (sp?) on the draw and played with the pair of Steve and Chad on the course. For some reason my tee shots were garbage today. I even played 1-4 before the round and everything was fine then, but during the round I was as inconsistent as I've ever been. Thankfully Fook had control of his drives (southpaw forehand!) and we took most of his. I was able to contribute by making some clutch long putts. This had to be my best putting day ever, even though I didn't putt on every hole due to close approaches, I buried them when it counted. We ended up either 3rd or 4th out of 4 but I'm still marginally satisfied with the round.

Round notes:Took mom and dad up the gondola at Vail to see the sights and take in the course. My back nine curse has continued with this round. I had a great front but then fell apart on the back. The holes are harder but I could feel something go mentally, I just lost focus. I shanked a couple of close putts and had some iffy approach shots but drives were generally above where they normally are here. Score wasn't terrible but it could have been so much better.

Round notes:This may be the best round of disc golf I have played to date. This course usually crushes me, especially with the pins in some difficult positions this year. 6 was in its short position today but all the other were unchanged from earlier this year. Drives were solid, approaches were precise and putting was spectacular. Practice is definitely paying off and this course is a great measuring stick for determining it. I may have had better scores on other courses but improving by so much (7 strokes!) at CMC is really saying something.
