Round notes:Didn't feel all that great after the wedding festivities the night before. Tried to hydrate it away but it nagged my on the front nine. Had a huge posse too (Dad, Jessie, Ben, Tynan and Rich) which I had to choreograph as far as scores and pace went. It wasn't a terrible round as far as first times go but it could have been much better. Putting was good too.

Round notes:Just eeked out a win over my Dad on this one by 3 strokes. I was only 1 over on the day which says something about how relatively easy this course was. Not a lot of shots required, basically drive, approach and putt. I didn't have a great day off the tee so there weren't many bird opportunities save for on the (short) par 4s but I'll take it. Putting is getting much much better now that I'm not trying to force the technique. Just throwing naturally is working so much better. Started raining once we hit the back 9 but most of the course was under canopy so we didn't get very wet. Had a rough spell when we hit some wooded holes on the back nine but recovered well the rest of the way. Mom and Scarlet came along and hung out for the front 9 and then hit the playground for the rest of the time. Me = 59, Dad = 62

Round notes:First scored round with my Dad. Met up with Ben (thenamesben) so that we could swap tags and he could guide us around the course. Dretzka was an awesome course with lots of variety (only fault was the overall flatness) and we had a great time. Dad shot very well and I had a decent day too. Again, I felt the different in stability as my discs were turning over really easy all day off the tee. Putting was good but not great. Had some good long ones and some shoddy short ones. Weather was perfect save for some wind on a few holes. Great day overall.

Round notes:Awesome! Gerry picked us up from the Airport and after some bass shopping, bakery, and Kopps we headed to Tendick (at his suggestion). Everything was working today, drives, approaches putts. I know this is an easy course but it felt great to have very few frustrating moments. Putting, especially. I started off so-so but by half way I was burying them. Best score ever and it was deserved.

Round notes:Strange day. For some reason I was tense early on (and a bear sighting didn't help that) and all of my shots were bad. Not just some but ALL. I was already 9 over at the turn with 3 doubles on the card and only 3 pars. It all turned around on the final 8 holes though. All pars save for one exquisite birdie on 16 where I landed 2 feet from the pole off the tee. It also helped to have some ridiculous forehand approach shots out of trouble on 13 and 15 that landed feet from the pin. I think all of the course traffic and curious hikers on the front nine were distractions, while the back nine was super quiet and peaceful made the difference.

Round notes:Great day out with Jessie and Nick. Got off to a better start and made lots of good choices off the tee and with my approach shots. Even putting was better today. Only one double on the day was a definite plus and really shouldn't have even happened if it weren't for a crap putt. It was on the worst hole though so it makes sense. Went to FAC afterward and met Paul, Amy, Seth and Anna for some beers.

Round notes:Managed to turn this around into a good round after 3 straight doubles to start. Played after work with Jim who was streaking to start (6 pars followed by a bird) on a beautiful Thursday night. Course was a bit busy but we were able to keep a decent pace and play through some large groups. Had some great drives and some nasty ones again, putting was ok but not great. Ended up playing the last 5 holes with a guy from St. Paul who we helped retrieve his disc from a tree. He was nasty good and was putting on a clinic on some tough holes he'd never seen before.

Round notes:Bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad. What a weird day. It was hot, sunny and no wind, it should have been perfect. And it started that way. I drove over the crater for the first time, I parked my tee shot on 5 without hitting lumber, I was making long putts, and then it all fell apart on the back 9. Terrible drives, poor approaches, lumberjacking through the woods, doinking putts off of the basket. Ugly. We met up with a couple who didn't know the course when we got to 6. They were nice and I offered to guide them the rest of the way. They had an annoying dog though that they had to constantly yell at which was distracting. I also lost my focus trying to explain tee positions and shot selection to him. Plus we were in a hurry to finish the round to we could meet Paul, Amy and Nick at the Dirty Dozen Brass Band concert downtown. Definitely a forgettable round. The concert, beer and hacking were awesome though. Had a great time in the beautiful weather in Glenwood.

Round notes:Awesome day! Headed up with Nick after we got back from camping up at Flat Tops. Weather was perfect, not too hot, only a little breeze on some holes. My drives were great today. My new Valkyrie is overachieving and I busted out some very pretty tee shots with it today. Definitely feel my game getting refined and settled. Everything is coming along except for putting. I really need to put more time into that. Could have had some birds if it wasn't for some crap putts. Definitely very happy with this round today. Me = 64, Nick = 75

Round notes:Headed over after work with Jessie for our first day at Adventure Ridge of the year. Aside from some youngsters and backup on the course it was a great round. It was definitely my best round off of the tee all year. Maybe 3 or 4 tee shots were crap and the rest were decent. Putting still needs a lot of work. Even short ones were clanging today. I did like the Wizard I just got though. Finally have a comfortable release with it.
