    Backyard courses

I really like the idea; this could make for some challenging mini shots. I hope to have 9 holes as an extension of the real DG course; you play through the 27 holes and when you hole out on 27 you proceed to the next tee but that is the first tee for the mini DG course. How far would say is...

    Backyard courses

I built mine out of galvanized wire and enamel painted wood; I believe it will last a long time in the weather. Time will tell as I am placing them out now.

Thanks guys! The land is great for DG lots of elevation change and tight tunnel fairways. The course is short but the challenge is possesses makes it shy away from a pitch and putt course.

    Backyard courses

Hi all, I have been working on my backyard course for about a year now. I have 20 shots and 10 baskets on 5 acres of land. I am planning on about 25 holes or so all together and will be adding on with 9 mini DG baskets. Here's a couple of shots of the DIY mini basket I made; will post more...

    Sandia Course

Unfortunately I have not heard anything about this course; although I would love to be in the planning and development process. I love to design courses from nothing.

    Backyard Courses

I really like the homemade baskets I think they bring a certain element of novelty to the course, depending how and what they are made of. I have so many trees on my land that it takes a lot of work to clear all the overgrown branches. I think for my tee pads I will use gravel base than large...

    Backyard Courses

Twilight Zone; is that a pitch and putt course? I would think it would have to be, were there any novelty holes? I am thinking of having a couple of mini disc baskets mixed in the course to change it up a bit and keep you guessing.

    Backyard Courses

I am looking for a large 40 to 100 acre tract of land to do the same. I think it would be great to live in the woods and have privacy but than the next weekend you could hold an event and have hundreds of people there.

    Backyard Courses

I have a little less than 5 acres on which I have 10 baskets. I still need to cut some more fairways and fine tune the other ones. I have made 5 baskets, bought 3 new and found 3 used. I still need to make tee boxes and trails. I believe this course has a lot of potential but it is only a...

    Backyard Courses

I have been working on my course a lot recently; got about 13 holes but its a pitch and putt course. This course works fine for me because I don't want to throw my arm out on every hole. My question is; How many people have backyard courses that we're designed and built by them? How many...

    Sandia Course

Let's not give up there is still hope: Sandia Peak Ski Area is also potentially interested in a disc course but no new summer projects/activities can happen at Sandia until we are through a Master Plan process with the US Forest Service and the process is a year or two away from completion...
