I have both. I carry the same amount of stuff in my A-series, that I had in my L. The difference is, it's not as packed in and its easier to get in and out. I have 3 putters in the top.(dx aviars) I had to put 1 in at a time in the L. The A, I can pull all 3 out at the same time if I want too...
I use these and I put them in the putter pocket beside my putters. With the putter quiver empty, I put 2 extra towels in a baggie and put them in first, then I put my 2 practice putters in, then I put my normal putter in, then the rag that is being used. With all of this, there is still plenty...

I have both. I like my L series too, but I'm loving the improvements on the A series. The putter quiver and front pocket are a lot bigger too. The extra space in the side pockets was a nice touch too.
