    Gonna do an experiment

Are we allowed to like them both? I have a Star Sanny & Glow Rancho, both of which I love. But 2 weeks ago I tried out a Buzz at league night, and there was a certain appeal. Inside 75 feet, the Roc is my goto for everything. I have not carried a putter or midrange in quite a while.

    Gorilla Boy Disc Sports

No, my wife is doing that. (Yes, it was Nate, and man that guy can throw!) I can introduce myself & say "I don't know sign", but other than that it's all finger spelling for me at this point.

    Gorilla Boy Disc Sports

One of the guys on my card at league on Monday had a digicamo Simian. It was the first GB bag I've seen in person, and I must say I was impressed! It's way more bag than I need, but the workmanship on it was outstanding & the owner gave it thumbs up all around. Nice stuff GB!

    Home made bags?

Version 2: The inside of the flap has a putter pocket when flipped open, & I just added a mini pocket on it as well. Trying for sturdy & multiple attachment options. I'm about $9 in materials in on this bag. Time is another matter, but when I'm not working it's a fine activity when the...

How do you try out new discs?

JOIN YOUR LOCAL CLUB/LEAGUE and get to know some people. Play casual rounds with them & swap discs so everyone gets to try things out. Then, if a disc strikes your fancy, buy one and use any of the methods already listed.

    The Rhythm Method

I have been focusing on my form & run-up a great deal for the last several months, & just in the last few weeks have found the timing of getting the hip-arm-snap motion closer to perfect. I found that keeping my run-up very simple (it's actually a 2-step walk-up) allows for better focus on all...

    What Bag do you have?

DIY bag for carrying. Innova Standard for spares. If I wind up needing a larger one, I like the Gorilla Boy & Voodoo, but may just go the DIY route. A buddy of mine wants me to make him a bag based on what I built....

You know you're addicted to DG when...

You are 2 courses into a 3 courses-in-a-day tour when one of your buddies injures himself so badly that you have to stop, and the thing he is most upset about is not finishing. Nevermind the crippling injury, we had 23 holes left!

    Home made bags?

Nope, I just like making stuff.

[Innova] am i ready for a valkyrie?

I'll second that. I have learned more about (and improved) my own technique & form because of my valks than any other disc.

    Home made bags?

yearofrolling, that looks a bit familiar... Nice colors! Recycled from a pair of old Carhartts. Multiple hidden pockets. Holds 6 discs, a 3.5 oz. flask, notepad/scorecards, pencils Drink holder is removable and attaches to either side. (Sewing the second one today) Total cost so far...

    don't make my mistake

I started playing at the age of 35, and have been very glad for the lessons I learned lurking on this site. Discing down, improving form vs. buying new plastic, the value of the second shot... have all helped me from injuring myself in this sport so far. Perhaps a good solution for you might be...
