Upper Park Rebel + Zuca LG Cart

Including drink holders, top handle, etc. it measures roughly 17" wide by 21" tall by 11" deep. So my guess it that it would fit, just wondering how much of the bag will be unaccessible - side pockets, top vertical storage area, things like that.

Upper Park Rebel + Zuca LG Cart

I'm in the market for a cart and am leaning towards one of the Zuca backpack carts. My current bag is an Upper Park Rebel (v4) and I LOVE it, but wondering if it would be compatible with the Zuca LG cart. I'm guessing this is probably a long shot...but has anyone tried to pair the LG cart with a...

HOD 3/16/18 - Lake Marshall - The Lair, Hole 7 in Montross, VA

Great course. The Lions course on-site (also under construction) will be top-10 caliber when completed. Only played it a few times. Long-Thunderbird, Short-Judge. Along with the mean basket placement, if you don't clear the water the drop zone is behind the basket, about 40 feet up the hill...

Uploading "Alternate" Course Info to DCGR

Yeah not sure why the new 9 holes were designed this way. I guess it adds variety (you can play the "new" back 9 or the "old" back 9 - which are very different) but makes it awkward if you wanted to play all 27 holes. Honestly the new 9 is pretty poor quality so I question the designer(s)...

Uploading "Alternate" Course Info to DCGR

I'm fairly new to uploading course info to the site, so I need some input. A local 18-hole course recently installed an "alternate" back 9. After finishing the front 9, you now have the option of continuing with the original course or playing the new back 9. What, in your opinion, is the best...

Review by ntguthrie in course Elk Creek DGC

3.50 star(s) Challenging Woods Course - Course flows very nicely, there are two 9-hole loops that start/end at picnic shelter. A practice basket is located at the entrance. - Lots of variety on hole design. There's a good mix of left/right turning holes, several short par 3s but also some longer par 4/5s...

Review by ntguthrie in course Sontag DGC

4.00 star(s) Very Challenging Course - Great variety of distances & types of holes, including long downhill drives, tight wooded shots, water hazards, etc. - Makes excellent use of elevation on several holes (10 is awesome) - Very picturesque, most of the course is untouched woods. Playing the course feels...

    Tourney Profit from Am Registrations

Wanted to get some input from TDs/clubs regarding tourney profit. Just ran a B-tier and was curious how you guys typically handle Am payouts. Here are some stats: - We were able to raise $750 in sponsorships, $500 which went to Open payout and the other $250 for Ams. So no Am registration...

    Birdie Bash Advice

I think the setup we agreed upon was to play a mix of red and white tees (12 red, 6 white). There are only two par 3's over 300', both of which are open downhill shots. We also have a lot of par 4's at the course that are normally 450'-500' (mostly open). We're playing all those from the red...

    Birdie Bash Advice

I'm helping organize a Birdie Bash this weekend. Just wanted to get some input from the general DG community on hole layout for the event. The course we're playing at (Greenfield DGC) is 6650’ from the white tees & 4930’ from the red tees , par 61 with about a 50/50 mix of open(ish) and wooded...

Review by ntguthrie in course Walrond Park - Old Layout

1.00 star(s) Practice Course at Best - Holes 6-9 make good use of the trees & vegetation - Scenic, well-maintained park - Can be played in about 30 minutes - Most of the tee markers (white PVC poles) are gone. Unless you memorize the map near the parking lot or have played several times it's impossible to...

Review by ntguthrie in course Fishburn Park

1.50 star(s) OK Beginner Course - Holes 1, 4 and 5 are nice driving holes that make good use of the creek as a hazard - Can be played in about 30 minutes, convenient for a quick round on a lunch break or after work - Hole 8 is a unique shot over a hill to the basket - Decent beginner course, holes are all...

    Upper Park Designs Backpack Bags

Just purchased the Rebel and have played a few rounds with it. Here’s my initial review: Some background…previously I’d been carrying an Innova Discarrier with DGA Gel Strapz, which had plenty of storage but got uncomfortable after lugging it around for a couple rounds. Some things I was...
