I think I am going to play badlands on Sat for the CDSA skins match for $90. I am getting an award for winning the advanced division of the Thin Air Tour. I am also hoping Ronnie is around with some plastic so I can finally cash my prize from the Denver Classic. But, I hope to make it out for a few of the winter warriors events this season. Let's get out and play sometime soon. We are heading to Hawaii next week and I am hoping to find a course or two to play there. Keep in touch!! - Ian
Yeah I can't do both and am leaving Wed. for TX. It's wierd since I never paid and have told everybody running the tourney I can't play. Who knows? Have fun.
btw... my nuke showed up today from dynamic discs. just in time for states and after losing one today. :)
how did your round at Johnny go? I played 3 times this am (+2, -3, -3). So, I got my nuke stuck in the big tree on i think it it's 11. I threw a few rocks at it and another player came over and handed me a softball from his bag to throw at the disc. I throw it twice and the third throw I get the softball wedged right next to my disc in the tree. Threw a few more rocks and gave up. I lost the disc and this dudes softball. Hopefully I see him at states so I can give him a replacement softball. other than that. fun times. I only got wet once. :)
Max is going to pick me up and give me a ride up to Fruita. He is playing in the open so I will definitively need a ride between rounds. Want to give me a ring once you get to the super 8 on Friday and we can plan for Sat AM?
I am going to try to play Johnny tomorrow and also hit phoenix disc sports to spend some of my gift certificate. I took a look at the pictures of fruita on the mile high site. It doesn't look that horrible. It looks like lots of the trees are cleared and there are only a handful that you need to get around. Will anything be different than a b or c tier event? Is there a dress code or anything I should know about?
Yeh, it was a fun round. i still can't believe i took a 5 on hole 1. uhg. We cranked through that round. I am glad we got 18 in. You are welcome to challenge me to another round to get your tag back. Just name the time and place. :)
Nice. Hope you score a few of em. I'm playing Mike Livingston's course on Friday am if you want to play hooky from work ;) - Ian

    All,

LATE REGISTRATION AND CHECK IN FOR THE FALL CLASSIC WILL BE UP TOP NEAR THE RESTROOMS AND HOLES 14&15.

Although dinner will be provided (gourmet burgers, brats, veggie burgers, and a phenomenal spinach salad), lunch will NOT be provided. You can either go off site for lunch (probably a 1-1.5 hour break in-between rounds) or you can bring your own lunch.

Water and soda will be provided for free. Beers will be $1/bottle (and yes, I got some pretty good beer!)

Great to hear more teams are planning on arriving for the tourney tomorrow!! www.ffdgc.net if you still want to register online. If not, please arrive BEFORE 8am so we don't have to scramble so much.
Ok, Im at 1398 S. Clarkson St. 80210

I-25 North to the Downing exit. At the exit it splits Left to Washington/Emerson St. and right to Downing St. Take the Left to Washington/Emerson. At the end of the ramp there is a traffic light. "We will be doing a lot of fun doubles play formats including Best Disc, Alternate Shot, Worst Disc, and Scramble." It looks like they will mix it up. The course will be set up long for the first round and shortened up for the second round. I am down to talk strategy.

You like Lat64? I have a core, pain, vision, bolt, and blitz if you wanted to try any of them.
Soft X Challenger, Z fly dye buzzz, Z buzzz, cryztal buzzz, Avenger ss, and esp nuke in various weights. I am not sure what they are doing for prizes. I also heard the dubs format will vary with the details to be announced soon.
