Voodoo work? They have custom stamped discs. They sponsor Feldberg and Leiviska. Have super awesome bags.
Hyzer Bomb also has custom stamped discs. Wiggins is one of their guys. As for service, I would say they aren't very good. I e-mailed them about six weeks ago about one of their products...
From their about page:
"Prodigy Disc is a unique company founded by a team of World Champion disc golfers..."
Sure seems like the use of the word founded makes it seem like they own it.
I think there are a lot of TDs who try to get their payout higher than that because the more AMs that play the more money for pros and thus more pros show up, which in turn brings more AMs out to play because they want to see the pros and so on and so forth.
But maybe now with more sponsors...
If you are going to try to use colors to help train your dog make sure they are colors that dogs can distinguish.
Dogs aren't color blind, but they have a much smaller amount of colors they process.
Lost a white Gateway Speed Demon on hole #7 at Red Oak tonight. Didn't look terrible from the tee until it banged a tree and kicked hard right into the thick woods.
I think most of us would tell a guy to keep a disc if we weren't willing to swim/wade/get terribly nasty, etc. to find a disc, but I totally agree that I don't think the finder should make that decision without making at least some sort of effort to return.
I found a disc the other day, no name...
I play tournaments, leagues, etc. because it is fun to compete. If I get a bunch of stuff just for showing up that's awesome. If I don't then who cares? I mean seriously, if I want a bunch of new plastic and dri-fit shirts and minis and what not then I can take my $60 dollar entry fee and...
Shot a lovely -7 in 17 holes during a quick lunch break round. Probably would have bogeyed 18, but as I was walking down the fairway I noticed I had to get back to work so I picked up my poor drive and called it.
I just have to throw this out there:
Who cares what par is? It's some arbitrary number that really doesn't matter. If you want pros to have "higher" scores than just make every hole a par 2.
As long as the field is competitive than in all reality it makes exactly no difference what par is...
Found a tye-dye Discraft Avenger at Red Oak DGC today on hole #3.
If anyone is missing it or knows who is PM me and identify what it says on the back (unfortunately not a phone number) and I will get it back to you.
After the final nine is over is Hyland going to be open to play? I'm hoping to get out to watch the final nine and then get a round in.
If Hyland doesn't open to the public afterwards does anyone want to head over to Bryant for a round?
