Played 2 rounds of flip dubs at bluegill yesterday. Scored poorly but had a lot of good shots. Only lost one disc :D ace run on hole #11 went long into the 3rd pond
RhFh flex shot, firebird.
It's easy to start a fh really low and have it climb as it cruises down the fairway. Just make sure you turn it far enough left that it doesn't land on the downhill side of the basket and skip away. Should be a fairly easy two after a few practice runs.
I chained out an ace in the state dubs championship, a beautiful comet shot that blew up the chains and fell to the ground :(
$166 ace pool, nobody else came close :(
champ tern gets my vote.
It's like a really fast comet. It's also the only high speed driver i feel comfortable throwing in the woods, very controlable.
Prodigy sells very well around here. In the state championships last weekend I saw dozens of prodigy drivers being thrown, and I only saw one pool of players.
On the flip side, here on MVP's home turf I saw one ion and one vector.
The local prodigy dealer is always selling out.
Played really flat at the state dubs championship, tied for 4th.
Also smashed chains with my trusty comet, only to have it fall out. Kinda sucks watching $166 ace pool slip through your fingers.
So they played on their home course with guys they play leagues with and nobody noticed they reg'd for the wrong division?
Sounds like a disc golf conspiracy started at the highest level.
We glow at least twice a month all year.
Never glow during a full moon, makes finding discs a pain.
Stick 4 glow sticks in each basket, the bracelets. Run them through the chains.
Any hazardous areas such as hills, holes, etc get a glow stick or two. No point injuring people.

Our course sits in a park made of mostly sand dunes. Many of our concrete tee pads sit on top of sand so erosion from foot traffic/follow through is always an issue. For the areas surrounding the pads and especially the area in front of it where people follow through is gravel still the best...
I'm pretty dangerous with a comet fh
One of the big things I noticed when I finally got it down was how good I had gotten at aiming with my body, and using my weight shift to guide the disc. The comet pretty much only goes where you point it on a fh throw. Any misalignment in your...
