My first ace was with a Z-XL on a 217' hole. It's a flex shot to the left of one pine tree, and the right of another. I had been playing for a few months, but I throw a Zone on that hole now ... lol

My left arm is a huge part of my distance throwing. I developed almost a mental step-by-step that I used to run through before it became ingrained in muscle memory:
starting at the reach-back:
1) reach left arm back as far as possible, and right arm back inline with my intended line.
2) focus...
I have a 150g DX Destroyer. STOOOOPID understable. To the point of being almost un-throwable. It'll go forever in a 30 Mph tail-wind, but it's just a wild guess as to where it's going to end up.
And there's your answer. OAT will cause a disc to turn over. I throw a magnet on the 265' hole #5 at Red Ridge and can park it most days. Any other disc is a gamble, but putting that magnet up high it will turn just a wee bit for about 200', then straighten out before dropping straight down out...
The whole idea of the 'towel drill' is to get the feeling of late acceleration, nothing more. To crack a towel, a whip or pretty much anything, it's all about quick movement toward the end.
That's only a very small portion of what people refer to as 'snap', and to really maximize your distance...
I used to carry 3 discs (overstable, stable, understable) in each category (distance, fairway, mid, putter), but it started boiling down to me using a certain specific set of discs for just about everything:
