Hey,
Is anyone playing this? I have never played in a tournament before. I am not sure if you can just play this tournament or if you have to play in the whole 896 series.
Does anyone know if I can just play this one?
Thanks

Overall:
This is a fair course that will reward well executed shots. There are some tight windows, some length and a need for all your shots in the bag. It is a quick playing course that will allow you to get multiple rounds in if you want. It wouldn't be the first course I would...
Thanks-- I started another thread abt getting a FireBird. I did some field work yesterday and I think overstated my distances a bit. So my game plan now is to stick with my T-Bird as a back hand/ FH driver and pick up a leopard as supplemental BH driver. I will pick up a FB to practice FH...
Hey,
I didn't find a thread on this.
I have been thinking about disc selection alot recently and there are alot of threads on discing down but when do you disc up?
For example, how far should you be throwing a Teebird before you are maxed out on D and need a faster disc for more distance.
Thanks
Hey-- based on your video, I was holding the disc wrong-- just went and tried the new grip in my yard. I spent 10min looking for the disc in the bushes. I got another 10ft and didn't throw hard.... Thanks for the tip!
I actually do alot of field work in my yard with my putters and mids. i have an acre lot and can get a good 250' of space to throw in if I use the street ( with a swing set and trampoline as obstacles).
I have never though about trying to FH with a putter other than in a pinch for a weird...
Makes sense... I am going to get a FB to try out.... b/c I play by myself rather fast, I usually drive 1 disc for score and then throw a second drive to see what a different disc or line might get. I am not going to give up on my valks but I really want my forehand drive back!
My valks are DXs.... so that may mean more understable.
I can hyzer my valks but not hyzer flip them.... maybe it is the amount of angle. I can hyzer flip my beat Roc consistently. My "go to" driver is a teebird now. I can consistently throw it the longest and straightest backhand. I can...
atvan-- i typically agree with you and did for about a mth with the valks.... however some of my arrows work and some don't-- and a faster arrow is working better than the slower... that is the question.
I throw the starfire anywhere from 300'- 330' and I feel it may be a little too much disc for me-- that is why I am thinking about getting a slower but more stable disc.
So I have been playing for several months. Initially my "go to" driver was a valkyrie thrown forehand. Over time, when I would throw the valk forehand, it would just flip over into a roller. It wouldn't catch itself and come back-- it would crash to left (RHFH).
I started throwing the...
