Review by Starwraith169 in course Lake Lowell

1.00 star(s) Lame! Well, There werent too many pros I could think of. At least they had baskets! Also, they did make some decent tee pads for the gully holes. The course is in a TINY little park. The holes were really short with the exception of 3-5 which was a shitty attempt to add some depth to the course...

Review by Starwraith169 in course McCall DGC

2.00 star(s) could be better The course is set in the middle of town so its easliy accessible by foot or bicycle, its a fairly family friendly course, and its just nice to see a public basket course right in McCall. the teepads need some work, the fairways need a little maintainence and some more routes need...

Review by Starwraith169 in course Lions Park

3.00 star(s) Pretty Decent Course The course is set in a well maintained city park with bathrooms and other emenities. The designer made good use of the land he was given to use. There is a good mix of long/short shots, concrete teepads, and 2 bridges that were made for teepads. There is a creek thats in...

    PDGA Smoking Ban

Climo, Feldberg, and other major players smoke. Is it just a hobby for them?

Discs you want in Unavailable Plastics

the old super soft rhynos. They were so gummy and yet stiff enough to throw midrange up-shots. I lost mine that I had for 6 years. I WANT, I WANT!!

Funniest/weirdest thing you've seen on the course

during a round at Aquatic Park in Berkeley, CA, I lost my disc on hole 12 in the bushes by the train tracks and walked in on a dude giving another guy a b.j. Scared the **** out of me! At least they freaked out and left so I was able to get my disc. That park is ****ed up.

Rounds I probably shouldn't have played...

I played on my 28th bday with a bunch of friends and proceeded to get hammered. Needless to say, but the end of the 2nd round, I couldnt see straight. Fun day, but damn were my scores horrible. I felt pretty dumb the next day.

Anyone highly offended by the term frolf?

Ya, especially if you have ever played at Aquatic Park in Berkeley! Creepy!

    DG with a super hero.

this post is funny as ****! I would have to go with Wonderboy and Nasty Man, because if they can shoot a yak from 500 yards away with mind bullets, thats telikenesis Kyle, then there golf game has to be pretty good. Plus I bet they have some killer herb.

Why did you start playing disc golf?

I got introduced to the sport by a team member on my ultimate frisbee team down in Cali. I played one round and was instantly hooked. I soon after gave up ultimate and focused on disc golf. After 8 years of playing, I still get as excited as the first time I played. What an awesome sport!
