    iDisc Golf Pro- iPhone

New course got added today, Tiki Island. It's mostly a water course, lots of islands, lots of palm trees and lots of strokes. Not sure what they "tweaked" but I am finding some odd little bugs. Like if you hit something before you hit water your disc lands like normal in the water, no water...

    iDisc Golf Pro- iPhone

I bought this game soon after it came out, between this and the other one this game is easily better. On the other hand there are some downfalls. Putts are off on both sides of the spectrum. Cons: - Disc bounces and rolls to much when it lands. - Almost zero natural disc fade. - Putts are off...

DG on a ball golf course? We finally got to do it

CCR club has a temp course in Haslet MI at Meridian Sun ball golf course. There is a tourny there every year. Also at the newly abbandon Waverly Golf Course, CCR held a Rolling Doubles event as well as making it part of the CCR Open.

    New Disc Golf Video Game

It's better then the other iPhone disc golf game. With some simple upgrades it could be great. The ability to throw backhand and forehand and more courses would be great. It is easily worth the $1.99 though.

Which Discs should we be hording???

What about CT Challengers? Back in Lansing there are quite a few DC that hold some decent value. The Z Puttrs and black Cyclones are two that stick out in my mind right now.

Which Discs should we be hording???

What about Ace Race discs? Those are made in limited numbers and even if they get put into production the Ace Race ones are different. The big one that comes to mind is the Impact. The Ace race ones are alot more flexible almost FLX in feeling and the production run ones are quite a bit stiffer.

Star Mako, Star Sanny, Star Dart, Pro Boss

The Mako was the only one I was actually looking forward to trying and to be honest I wasn't impressed. It flew like a Champ Shark, nothing more nothing less. Not enough to get a spot in the bag, oh well least they were free :P.

    Nobody throws them but me!

I always thought of the Impact as a longer Roc, least that's what it acts like for me. I agree with you on the crosshatching, I am not sure what sort of an effect it has on flight I haven't really noticed much of anything. That doesn't work to well with the Impact, unless you are breaking out...

    Nobody throws them but me!

Ace Race Impact's. If the rare occasion someone has them, it's usually the production run ones. 135g Raging Inferno DT. Not only have I not seen another raging inferno on the course, but I haven't seen anything that low.

    Roc'n 420'

I am sure that strength plays a part in distance throwing, but I would think that snap, angle, height, spin and acceleration play a bigger part. A plus or minus to strength still needs to be backed up by the right amount of snap and form to correctly utilize it, else it would end up as a shank...

    Scorecard for my blackberry

Player profiles. Helpful when you play with the same group of people allot. That way when you get ready to start you can just click who you are playing with, and be ready to go. Saved courses. The ability to select a course from a list you have complied would save time on having to type the...

    Working out while playing

Lost 6 lbs and counting so far, to be honest the food intake isn't really bad when you look at it. You can have the fast food or junk food if you wish, just not for every meal and take in mind that for that day you need to do a little more. The pop was the hard one for me, switching to diet and...

    Swearing on the course

Hopefully not for long it won't be :P ....sorry slight little drift there Anyways back on track, yes I swear on the course but usually not allot. Usually takes a little bit for me to actually say anything worse then "damn it".

    distance record questions

How real do you want? When we go out and play, are we are not also battling the wind? When the wind pushes you that extra 50ft down the fairway and drops it in birdie range of a hole that you know you normally can't reach, do you count it? Of course you do. Wind is a part of disc golf as much as...

    Working out while playing

I have the numbers, or so I think. If someone could check the numbers over though, as they seem a tad high. After some research, the best I have been able to come up with is disc golf burns aprox 1.36 cals per hour, per pound you weigh. Meaning that a 150 lbs person would burn 204 cals an hour...

    Working out while playing

I was thinking that doing them during the round would be a tad easier on your body as well. Meaning during the round you do them when you take the extra shots, earning yourself a break if you make par or better. Instead of at the end of the round you look at the scorecard and find out you shot 9...
