An Innova-sponsored player told me that they only paid bonuses for winning an A-tier or above. That might have changed since there are so many more events now, this was back in 08 or so.

It varies depending on what kind of sponsorship the player has. I would also imagine the sponsorships have improved somewhat from that time. I will say that I know most top players do receive bonuses for B tier wins.
