What is the best chemical dye to use for tie dyes and sharp color on disc? I use rit for my contact paper dyes but looking to branch off from that. Any clues?

Clue #1 - Post in the correct forum/sub-forum

But seriously, Rit works great for dyeing discs. I've also heard of a few other dye brands working, but there are very few that work well with plastic molds

I would recommend Jacquard iDye Poly. Make sure you get the "Poly" one.

For a long time, Rit was the standard in disc dyeing. However, Rit changed there formula, and the new formula does not bond well (or at all) with the plastic used in discs. If you have some old bottles, they will work.

Only a few colors are in the new formula thus far.

This works very well indeed. And it's available in europe, which was what sold me on it ^^

But realy, it works great, and they have many colors on offer.
