I noticed most people only use their rocs for drives.

When a midrange shot is needed they pull out something else?

I'm not sure who you've seen, but a Roc (or any other midrange or putter) can be a great approach disc and players frequently use them on their upshots.

A player should use whatever disc they're comfortable with for a given shot, be it a putter, mid, or driver.

That tends to be my favorite mid for longer upshots. It's almost identical to the Roc on the flight chart, but they both have different feels to me. I think more people should try it out. It's a really nice disc.
