birdie beads

thinking of making my own birdie beads using some skull beads i picked up at hobby lobby my question is what string should i use, was thinking para-cord but its to big for the hole in the beads

Take all (or most) of the inner strands out of the para cord and just use the outer sheath. It's to be pretty tight on the beads for them to be useful. Beads loosen a bit with time.

how long does the para-cord last, i play all year round rain or shine

Walmart and other places have some thinner paracord that could work too.

I did zipper pulls awhile back with just the outside cord. They work fine.
