I love DX Cheetahs and they are my main control driver. Anyone throw the champion cheetahs from the Pro Shop? What are they like?

Yes. I have thrown all three variants of the new Cheetah. The Star, Champ and pearly circle stamp Champ Cheetah.
In comparison, they fly much more like a Gazelle than a Cheetah. Much more stable than DX Cheetah. Not really even the same disc.

the millennium spls flies more like a dx cheetah then the champs do.

Get a MPLS if you get one....Actually get two. They are cheaper and their m plastic is awesome.

What speed is the PLS?

A little faster than a Cheetah. It has a Cheetah top with a Whippet bottom.

The champ and star Cheetahs don't seem as durable as other discs in champ and star plastic. They are much more durable than DX Cheetahs, though.

And I haven't noticed a difference in the flight characteristics of Cheetahs in varying plastics, although I am not a very consistent thrower, and other players could point out those distinctions easier than I could.

I think the qpls would be more like the 11x. I threw the 11x for a couple years.
