Providing an introduction to and expanding the awareness of Disc Golf

In an attempt to make more people aware of and to participate in the game of Disc golf this course/game has been designed so that it is possible to introduce (hopefully "hooked" in less than 10 minutes) people of all ages, genders, nationalities in a short time into the joys, fun, frustrations, benefits, challenges, basic rules and etiquette of this particular games big brother Disc Golf in a simplified, quicker to play version.
Required:
One disc golf basket (preferably – better for disc golf awareness) or target object
One Disc golf disc (putter recommended)
One Disc Golfer (more the merrier)
12 markers (tees)
Layout
Imagine the basket as the centre of a clock; pick a spot to make 12 o'clock (preferably north (wind direction)) then measure 1 metre from the centre post to the direction of One o'clock (NNE), place a marker. This is the tee for Hole 1.
Measure 2 metres from the centre post to the direction of two o'clock (ENE), place a marker. This is the tee for Hole 2.
Measure 3 metres from the centre post to the direction of three o'clock (East), place a marker. This is the tee for Hole 3.
4 metres to 4 o'clock for Hole 4 (ESE)
5 metres to 5 o'clock for Hole 5 (SSE)
6 metres to 6 o'clock for Hole 6 (South)
7 metres to 7 o'clock for Hole 7 (SSW)
8 metres to 8 o'clock for Hole 8 (WSW)
9 metres to 9 o'clock for Hole 9 (West)
10 metres to 10 o'clock for Hole 10 (WNW) *The Putting Circle*
15 metres to 11 o'clock for Hole 11 (NNW)
20 metres to 12 o'clock for Hole 12 (North)
Total of 103 metres

The Game
Step 1
Throw your disc into the basket from behind the marker/tee starting at Hole 1.
Strictly No "Jump putts" unless outside the Hole 10 distance "the 10 metre putting circle"
If you miss, throw your next shot from behind where the disk landed no closer to the basket, the person with the furthest away disc always throws first.
Count/record your number of shots for this hole.
Step 2
Move to next tee (2) the person with the least amount of shots on the last hole has the "honour" and throws first.
Repeat step 1 and so on moving to the different tees till Hole 12.
Add up your throws for the 12 Holes
The person with the least amount of shots is the winner!

If there is space and time it could be expanded out to 18 Holes. Continuing the clock example around to six o'clock again increasing by 5 metres for each hole/tee.eg:
13 @ 25 metres
14 @ 30 metres
15 @ 35 metres
16 @ 40 metres
17 @ 45 metres
18 @ 50 metres Total of 328 metres
Or possibly back to 12 o'clock again for 24 holes
19 @ 60 metres
20 @ 70 metres
21 @ 80 metres
22 @ 90 metres
23 @100 metres
24 @ 120 metres Total of 848 metres

The Benefits, Potential and hopes of Clock Disc Golf Course.

It is a fun, basic, simple to play and participate in game. Hopefully enticing lots more people to try clock disc golf and then be inspired to play and enjoy the sport of Disc Golf.
It is relatively quick and easy to set up a temporary course at the beach, park, backyard, school, university, resort, holiday accommodation. Be good to see permanent installations in these places as well.
It is relatively quick and easy to enjoy a round of twelve holes with your disc golf mates or to introduce some new people to what disc golf is about.

It teaches people the basics in the world of disc golf
-Throwing discs
-Holing out, most people should be able to make first couple of holes therefore starting their disc golf experience with confidence as an introduction into the sport.
-Etiquette, the basics of honour, furthest disc throwing first, waiting your turn etc.
-Scoring, each hole
-Putting and the putting circle, introduces the no jumping rule
-Putting with different wind conditions as you move around the clock.

It can create pressure putt situations, imagine making the first 10, the pressure on 11, and imagine making that, then imagine pressure on 12!!

It can create a standard that can be appreciated all over the world.- 'I shot a 12 on the clock disc golf course today!!'

Be great practice basket layout for established Disc golf courses – Practicing set distance putts, warming up etc.
The potential for competitions!
The potential for an International 12 shot honours board
It is easier and more economical to establish than a full 9/18 Hole course. Hopefully making it easier to get local councils interested and engaging in the promotion and creation of Full disc golf courses in the future.
It uses a lot less space and confines the throwing of discs to one basket if space is an issue. Therefore hopefully allowing more clock disc golf courses in more parks, public places to be permanently established widening the interest, participation and enjoyment of Disc golf in our communities.

I would appreciate any positive feedback or constructive criticism from the disc golf community to this idea so that I can take these to my local council in my attempt to get a Clock Disc golf course permitted as the first step in getting them to establish the first permanent 18 hole Disc Golf course on the Gold coast of Australia.
