The rim is also convex on the new www stingrays they also feel deeper. Super stingrays have a small bead if I remember correctly. the Sannies were concave in the wing and your right the top is much better if innova could reproduce that top they would revive two molds that don't get much love anymore, sentinels and rays.

Is the Aurora MS wing different now? It used the Stingray wing. There was a run or two of them with a microbead, was that a permanent change?

I could see Innova changing the Stingray wing to a convex design to be more like the Roadrunner. Nothing is sacred to Innova, they will tweak anything. If they thought they could recreate the Stingray flippier, they would. Maybe they think the new Stingray is actually better and we are just crazy.
