Here is what I do to determine a bag's capacity. I put putters in the putter pocket (if it has one). Then I take a big stack of Big Bead Aviars and load as many into the bag as will reasonably fit. I don't cram them in. Also, discs are not put into storage pockets that are big enough to hold discs (like the side pockets on Voodoo's Mojo, Karma and Zulu). I leave any dividers in. This establishes a bags "minimum." Next, I keep putters in the putter pocket, but I used a big stack of Bosses. Any dividers are removed. This determines a bag's "maximum." Most people (with a mix of putters, mids, fairways and distance) will be somewhere in the middle.

I did a "Bag Buyers Guide" like this but I haven't updated it since 2010, so it is very out of date. That was when the backpack bags were first coming out, so none of the new and popular backpack bags are on there. The file also has a chart that compares many features. You can get a copy of the guide at DG Resources. Also look in the Files section there too.
