Dark disc, light dyes. does it work?

I want to dye a Yellow design on a blue disc, but I'm afraid it will turn out green. Can anyone in the vast world of disc dyeing help me out? Thanks

It will end up green, you might want to start with a white disc and do blue first,cover up the blue, then yellow second, mutiple colors is more stencil work, but really the only way to do it

Seconded, gotta do a multi-colored dye on white.

i had a dark blue star wraith i tryed to dye purple, green, and yellow. they all turned out different shades of black. you can't dye lighter than the disc color. i heard bleach will fade a discs color a little. never tryed myself thou.

Just start with a yellow disc and dye it negative style in blue. You could even submerge the disc and dye the entire thing blue.
