Searight-Austin, TX - http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=934

2. Innova-Viking Champion & Innova-Roc Pro

3. http://www.dgcoursereview.com/
http://www.discnation.com/

4. DGCR had done an amazing job for the world of DG. I would like to see a disc review, possibly tournament held by DGCR for members, and maybe discounts with certain companies for Platinum members (which I will be soon;)).

Thanks DGCR and Happy Birthday!

2 favorite course are Highland Ski Hills, Bloomington MN and Bryant Lake Park, Eden Prairie, MN

2 favorite Discs are the Star Destroyer and the Star Valkyrie

2 favorite websites are dgcoursereview and youtube

This site is just about perfect. The only thing I would sugest would be to have a general discussion forum that was separated by state. You probably already have it but I am kind of new to this so.....

Here goes!

2 favorite courses...
1) Downriver in Spokane WA http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=484
2) Tyler state Park in Newtown PA http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=29

2 favorite discs to put in bag...
1) FLX Challenger by Discraft. More to practice with.
2) Innova Star Roadrunner because I need to get better at turnovers and annies.

2 favorite websites...
1) Disc Golf Review http://www.dgcoursereview.com/
2) National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration to check the weather so I can be properly prepared when I play. http://www.noaa.gov/

Comments or Suggestions...

This is a great place to learn, ask questions, and meet like minded people (disc gold addicts). I have a great time here and am truly thankful for this site.

My only suggestions would be in regards to the issue of inflated ratings and the lively discussions here about them. I would suggest a removal of a persons review if they do not log in for 6 months and have fewer than ten reviews. The 6 month period would bring the rating system into a better alignment of reality. Also, by using the 10 reviews minimum this would keep a person who may have had a life issue, that kept them away for awhile, from loosing their reviews and prevent us from loosing the valuable insight they may have about a course.

1. I haven't played many courses but the two that I enjoy are Glenn C. Hilton Memorial Park in Hickory, NC and The High Country DGC in West Jefferson, NC.

2. My two favorite discs are a beat 170g Pro Wraith and 180g KC Pro Roc.

3. dgcoursereview.com is a mainstay along with bt.etree.org.

4. I really enjoy the score keeping functions that DGCR allows. Also, it's a great resource that has helped me work on my technique.

Your 2 favorite courses
It's kind of hard to choose my favorite two courses (there are four that I love...) but since I can only pick two I'll have to go with the following:

Ewing Park: http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=65
This course is solid in nearly every way. Plenty of variety, and there are a few holes you can really open up on. There is plenty of options for nearly all skill levels as well. With two tees and three basket locations on all the holes the course never feels the same the whole way through. Beautiful park too.

McHose Park: http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=2407
I think the reason I like this course so much is that I like hiking. While the upper nine wholes are fairly easy, the lower nine offer some of the most challenging terrain I've ever seen. I've never been anywhere near par on all 18, but its a fun day if you're into the outdoors.

Your 2 favorite discs
My two favorite discs are easily my champion sidewinder (perfect through narrow corridors for me. Just a flick of my wrist and it will go the distance) and my z buzzz (Most used disc out of my bag. Seems suited for nearly anything). However, the next plastic I get will be new voodoos. My organic ones are getting really beat up, and the green can be hard to find even in short grass sometimes.

Your 2 favorite websites
Here of course. Its my go to site to find information on new courses to play if I'm going on a trip anywhere.
www.discgolfcenter.com would be the other. I love the ability to choose the color and exact weight of the disc I'm getting, along with choosing the exact dye that you want. Great prices and free shipping are always a bonus too!

Any comments on/suggestions for DGCR that you'd like to share
None for now! Keep up the great site and congratulations on two years!

Winning reply? probably not, but maybe i will get lucky

* Your 2 favorite courses (extra points for linking them so we can all check them out!)

My absolute favorite course of all time is Kaposia Park http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=364 in South St. Paul, MN. First place I ever went discing, and I was hooked as soon as I made my first throw. Toughest course I have ever played, it really makes you want to practice all day until you can finally own the course, which still hasn't happened for me yet. Bring snacks/drinks, it is a long and fearsome course to play, especially with the re-addition of the formerly discontinued 19th-24th holes

My second favorite course is Bryant Lake Park http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=763 in Eden Prairie, MN. Although I don't love the whole "pay to play" part, it is simply too good not to play it a few times a year. Beautifully landscaped, with lots of challenging holes. Hole 17 is the most entertaining hole I have ever played, with the tee about 200 feet in the air and the toss gong across a valley, you just get to let loose and throw your heart out. a huge variety of hole types and landscapes lets everyone succeed in certain areas.

* Your 2 favorite discs (aka what kind of plastic you'll get with your gift certificate to fill up that slick bag)

My favorite disc is the Innova Monarch, I love the way it flies long and straight and it is very unique with the groove on the lip. Unfortunately, I recently lost it in a lake, and if I happened to win, that is the first disc I would buy.

My second favorite disc is the Disccraft MRV Elite-X. This one one of the first discs I ever had. It was given to me by a college buddy of my brother and has been one of the most reliable disc I have ever thrown. It also doesn't hurt that I have had quite a few miracle midrange shots made with it.

If I was picked, a few discs I would pick up would be a New Innova Champion Boss, Champion Monarch, Disccraft Pro D Avenger and an Elite-X Comet

* Your 2 favorite websites (there is at least one correct answer here guys )

Number one is an obvious choice, it is a little site called dgcoursereview.com...I don't know if any of you have checked this out, but it is a pretty sweet website. The editors of the website, meaning just about everyone have compiled a huge list of reviews for disc golf courses for everyone to use, and is an invaluable resource for any discer. Plus, it lets me kill a ton of time when I am supposed to be working.

Number two is twitter, it is simply addicting. Anyone who hasn't tried it should, you will be hooked instantly.

* Any comments on/suggestions for DGCR that you'd like to share (optional)

Please pick me?

Favorite courses: East Roswell Park in Roswell, GA and Richmond Hill in Asheville, NC.

Favorite discs: Give me a Stingray and Roc and I can probably do anything I can do with the other 10 discs in my bag. I usually buy DX plastic, but I have a 180g Star Stingray that I like but wish was lighter.

Favorite web sites: DGCR, of course, and Facebook get most of my online time these days.

My Entry

Two favorite courses:

Well, since I've only played once, I'll go with that course: Deming Park http://http://www.dgcoursereview.com/reviews.php?id=714&mode=rev#11331 and... uh, I guess this course from my hometown, East Frankfort Park (which I have never played but probably will the next time I go home) http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=1216

Two Favorite discs:

Innova Archangel DX (used this to make my best shot so far)
Innova Star Aero (my favorite putter, of course, I've only played once)

Two Favorite sites (disc golf related):

dgcoursereview.com
ebay.com (that's where I found a great deal on my discs)

I just joined dgcoursereview today, and I think it will be a great way for me to find courses and learn more about disc golf. I haven't explored a lot of the site yet, but is there a way to find players in your area or arrange a meet-up for a round? I imagine there is, but if not that would be helpful.

Thanks!

Biggest thing I can see to add is to provide a linkage to mapquest or other driving directions website to plan the trip from where you are to where you're going.

2 favorite courses:
Rolling Meadow, Circle R Ranch, Wimberley, TX
Circ Hill, Circle R Ranch, Wimberley, TX

2 favorite discs:
Roc
Wraith

2 favorite websites:
DGCR.com
IowaDG.com

Any comments on/suggestions for DGCR that you'd like to share (optional):
This site is my new reference for finding courses in unfamiliar territories (vacation spots). The Google Map feature is something I had suggested some time ago to the PDGA but they never had the resources to do it.

1) Ghost Town in Russell Gulch, CO and UW-Parkside in Kenosha, WI
2) 170 Star TeeRex and 175 Gateway SSS Warlock
3) www.dgcoursereview.com!! and espn.com
I have to say that this website is awesome and it's totally helping to feed my disc golf addiction. I'm a newmember but I promise to start getting some course reviews and pics up soon!
