Hello guys and gals-

We are just seven weeks out from the 2019 Jonesboro Open presented by Prodiscus. If anyone is considering playing but not signed up yet, I would suggest you do so soon. As of Tuesday, Feb 19 we have 5 FPO, 37 MPO and 79 AMs spots remaining.

The big news is.... The Jonesboro Open is now the Play It Again Sports Jonesboro Open - Presented by Prodiscus.

With the addition of Play It Again Sports, we are adding $3,000 more to the added cash on the pro side for a total of $15,000 added cash!

On the AM Side Presented by Dynamic Discs; the original Player's Pack was going to have 2 new discs, including a new release... now all AMs will receive three Dynamic Discs AND one Prodiscus Disc. PLUS a bunch of other goodies in the Player's Pack.

Fun to see Henna Blomroos signed up, i dont think she have played much in the US if any. . but Prodiscus is one of the sponsors and i think Henna still plays for Prodiscus
 
Pretty strong field. 6 players 1040+ and 13 at 1030+

Will and Feldy making their first appearances on tour this year...

Massive pressure on Henna, she is the third highest rated player, she has that "can she do what Eveliina did" pressure. . .and the pressure of playing in another country.

And her sponsor is the main sponsor of the event
 
Gonna be good to see All of the Top players together at one tournament ,, Havnt seen a field, this stacked in a long time ,, hope they get some good weather

Nope, have definitely not seen a field this stacked in at least....a month. ;)

Looks like Saturday might be wet but it doesn't look like temps will get low enough for there to be snow like they had last year. Should be a good tournament on a challenging course.

Pretty even with LVC. Some of the guys are a few points higher but basically 8 of top 10 ratings at both are the same people. Sexton and Seppo played Vegas, Orum and Dickerson are playing Jonesboro are the only difference(Jones and Conrad played both but flipped into and out of the top10).



...but you gotta give the edge to Vegas since LDubs was there.
 
64ish 1000+ rated players in Vegas. 51ish in Jonesboro. Both are around 23-24 in 1020+ players. Jonesboro has higher overall ratings because Paul, Rick and Eagle are all up from then. Also, Calvin and Anthon are over 1040 now but played both.

It seems like this event is really good at getting sponsorships. I noticed that they got a bank to sponsor the event. What was the added cash last year?
