Disc Golf: ESPN Top 10....Almost

This evening watching Sports Center on ESPN they showed the Top 10 Plays of the week. One of those plays was a throw and catch during an Ultimate match.

After they showed that play this conversation followed:

The female anchor (the blonde that just had a baby) said:
"That's like Frisbee golf"
Male anchor:
"You wouldn't do that playing that game"
F.A.:
"True, have you ever played?"
M.A.
"Sure have"
F.A.
"I love that game"

Then they break for commercial.

So disc golf wasn't in the top ten but Frisbee golf was mentioned during the top ten.

There is a course in Bristol, so it shouldn't be too much of a surprise that any ESPN employee has heard of disc golf or even played it.

That doesn't mean the game is going to get on the air anytime soon.
