Why are people excluding discs approved in late 2012? Surely this is the first "season" for those discs.

Exactly - Stag, Underworld and Tursas were not available until 2013.

Yes, it is in my list, but it isn't in the PDGA list. I added it since it came out this year.

Couldn't agree more, but I haven't thrown every disc on the planet so I may be wrong.

Not really. Has he thrown the disc long enough to find out how useful it is in every stage of its lifespan? Probably not. It's beat out several understable discs to find a spot in my bag, but it's still on trial.
