I have been searching for diy disc storage ideas for a while and I think I have stumbled on a cheap, nice looking solution for the garage. I used some scrap wood for brackets and spent $20 at Menards for 2 8ft grounding rods and a bag of copper pipe hangers. The copper plating might tarnish but it looks nice now.

I like it! Exactly what you need and simple. I just got back into disc golf after a long hiatus but once I accumulate discs Like I did back in the day when I played a lot I was thinking about building something similar or using plastics bins for storage? Wasn't sure what way to go but I like what you did. its clean, against the wall and out of the way and the discs are right there for easy picking. I thought plastic totes or bins might be a pain moving and getting down or what not so I may eventually build something similar to what you show. I think I like the copper look over PVC. Ive never been a huge fan of building things with PVC. It works fine but just never liked the look of it. Cool. thanks for posting the pics!

That looks very nice! I am using plastic containers that I found at Target, and they have lids that have gaskets and they stack nicely, but I'm still unstacking and restacking containers all the time and even though the plastic is sem-transparent you still have to take the lids off to see them well enough to identify them.

Version 2.0

One shelf for discs ended up not being enough. I guess I have the plastic addiction. Anyway here are the pics for version 2.0. I can't stress how easy these types of shelves are to make!

Needed a project so I made a "luxury" shelf. Got a little carried away but why not have something for all the discs, bags, minis, towels, dry bags, pencils...... just needs some stickers. Also found that those shower caddies that fit over the shower head are perfect for mini disc storage.

so what's in the box labelled game day? your best discs for tournaments?

GAME DAY! Yeah it's full of accessories for tournament days. Extra towels, pencils, scorecard holders, hacky sac, first aid kit, Sharpies, hand warmers, drink koozies. A bunch of stuff for those longer days and I seem to always have friends who forget a towel or need a pencil.
