Segue from the prior post... I want to put a 4-5" extension on mine (on the magnet side) to mimic the goal of trying to fling the opposite end of the disc. Currently, where the screw sits in the hand is where the front end of the disc would be.

That sounds like a neat idea. Please post a pic when you have it. Would the original work with holding the "T" end?

I haven't figured how I am going to extend it but the original should still work. Basically similar to throwing a hammer with the magnet/screw in the position of the hammer head.
