Driveway Markers for OB

Anybody ever think about or using driveway markers for OB markings. I know they are skinny but they are bright can easily be installed/removed and can be purchased in bulk for cheap.

Thoughts?

I have tried them- too skinny, taller than i would like, fade pretty quickly in the sun. I much prefer 2 foot sections of pvc.

What size pvc do you like?

I was thinking they would be to skinny but not sure because they seem quite visible. You could cut them in half to be 2 or 3 ft though.

Fiberglass doesn't cut all that well.

My favorite size is definitely "whatever I can scrounge for free." Barring availability of that I would say 1 inch.

I think 2-3ft tall is good.

When I looked at the OP, my initial thought was a disc could hit one of those on the fly (admittedly slim chance), and that a shorter marker would be less likely to affect a disc's path.

I think anything sticking up more than 18 inches or so is too tall.
