I have been playing for years, but only regularly for two. I throw my Rival (7 speed) the same distance as my Sidewinder (9 speed). I max around 250', but average around 220'. I feel I should be pushing 300' regularly. Posting a slow-motion video for your critique.

turning back too early and reaching high and then re adjusting. complete your x-step facing your side towards the target, and turning backwards about halfway through it.

Watch your arm and disc angles to your body and shoulders. Everything is off plane starting from your grip. Your "reachback" is all curled up instead of extended into a nice wide backswing.

Grip - pay close attention to the first section about orientation and nose angle.

Snap 2009 - change your swing philosophy:

Watch how Brinster swings the disc back and the disc angle is always on level plane to the shoulders.
