I like our local face Christine Jennings
Jessica Weese.
Don't know why, it just looks like she works on her technique.
I don't see some of the throwing quirks that I see in others.
Her form is not perfect, but it looks like she works on it.
I've been working on my throw lately, and getting my form right, so I tend to pay attention to that part of the visual.
Her throw bothers me less than others, but I can't say exactly why...
Just curious, what was the context?
Easier than Golf, easier as a sport to play, or was it a bragging comment?
Paige Pierce says everything is easy too, and people still love her.
(An exaggeration, but her comments have bothered me. She said, in a pre-tourney interview, that getting par at USDGC was easy. Ok, so do it. Don't tell us it's easy then proceed to come in 107th place, throwing a +43 for the tourney.)
...which also leads me to Holly Findlay. I don't know why she gets some of the crap she does, but she's always repped the game quite well, and props to any big name player who publicly posts on these forums.
I think you answered your own question. IMHO I think she gets crap for referring to herself as the "Duchess of Disc Golf" among other things she's done here like this little gem of a post. A lot of people (not that I am one of those people) find giving yourself a nickname especially one like that is cheezy and a reason to hate.
I don't see the issue with the post you linked. What am I missing?
Jessica Weese has a great forehand. There is a video of her showing how she throws forehand (maybe in an ITB video, maybe with Nikko), and it helped me tremendously with my forehand. I commend Jessica Weese's forehand form to anyone trying to learn and improve theirs.
