The REC center recently installed three baskets in the field behind the center. I have been practicing there quite often lately and am currently in discussions to teach the kids how to play disc golf. The field is open to the public for anyone wanting to practice or throw a "round."
And while it only has three baskets the field is large enough to make a 9 hole course with a little imagination, plus i take my practice basket for a fourth target.
I am also looking for anyone in the Louisville, Ky area willing to possibly donate some older used putters and mid-range disc for the center to use. I decided to limit it to just putters and midrange simply because the kids are in the 5-10 year old range and I want to keep it "safe" as possible until they learn. :thmbup:
