If my experience is anything to go by they will definitely replace those. Merrell is exceptional about returns, I've done it twice now with boot style shoes that blew out on the side.
My trail gloves are holding up good, and I found some black ones on sale so I bought a backup pair.
I actually just used the same shoes you posted for my bikepacking trip, where I put about 15 rounds of golf, ~50 miles of walking, and hundreds of miles of biking on them. They smell like hell but they held up perfectly, couldn't be happier with them. That's my pair.
What confuses me about Merrell is I'm having these thin, minimal running shoes hold up better than their heavier hiking style shoes like the boots I wore last spring and all of 2013, the chameleons I used to wear etc. Makes no sense to me, but I dig the lightweight footwear either way.
Now that I'm back home I'll probably go back to the Figaros & Trail gloves depending on how I feel each day. I definitely have a shoe problem.
