And for further clarification, the Spruce Knob post was meant as an official announcement of a new course, clearly not involved with the **** show down the road��. You can pick your friends, but not your family, and if given a chance, you'll realize that not all Jokinen's are a-holes.

AFAIK that's the only golf course within 5 miles of the hill... and those pics are definitely on a golf course.

Where in the world is he gonna put up "Granite" and "Woodland" as he says? Now I know that golf courses are big, but it is only a 9 holer...

Where is he gonna get the baskets from? I saw on MM's Highbridge page that there are orange Woodland baskets and Gold baskets in his possession. If he has baskets, Mellen CC must have paid for them cause there's no way in hell John purchased them himself...

How can he call it "Highbridge Hills" when it's on the Mellen Country Club?

Who actually designed these layouts - the few pictures JJ posted make it seem like they actually might be decent holes - if they're all like that, it couldn't have been him that designed it - I heard the mysterious "Whitetail Course" was a jok(inen)e.

This is absolutely absurd and I can't wrap my head around wtf is going on. Why would anybody watch reality tv when you can read this thread????

I don't know where those pics were taken, but they're not from the Mellen Country Club. I also noticed that there doesn't appear to be fresh dirt moved near the anchors, so either the pins were in already, or PS?

Camping is about the same distance from the courses as it was at Chestnut to parking lot. Nice camping with water! Two nights camping, firewood, golf for three days will run you $40 per person for an average group of 5. We will have 8-10 man tents set up for you to camp in for an extra $7 per person. Carts will be $20 a person from 7:30-4. Two seaters. $12 from 4-9 . Pro shop with food and beverages. More than happy to talk or text everyone, friends from the past and "newbies"! 715-681-0112. Best to text ahead to reserve camp sites and cart.

Not that we should exactly believe what he said, but if theoretically we do, he said it is "close by", to the original site. Mellen CC is the only golf course that is "close by". Unless the Chequamegon course in Ashland?

Of course, it could all be one massive hoax but where were those pictures taken, and when? I think John is part of the Illuminati...

I am all for HH becoming what it could/should be, but I must admit (for daily entertainment purposes) I was a little bummed this saga had slowed to a snore, but just when you think HH may have reached some level of normalcy...BOOM!- here comes JJ to the rescue!! It looks like this thread is back and better than ever.

1) Speculation was the baskets were pulled to be put onto his own property that he actually owns.
2) Someone said the baskets were pulled because John and Abby had a fight and he didn't want her to be able to play.
3) Now someone else says John has stated they were pulled to be re-coated.

I hope I'm not alone and don't get me wrong I hardly support giving money to JJ and would strongly advise anyone going to his possible hoax course to NOT stay there find other accommodations lol. But if and this is a big if, if JJ does by somehow find a way to set up some playable (hopefully) courses that are close to the real HBH just means that much more golf you could play while up there.

Also my group heads up to the mecca in 8 days! Can't wait
